Hunter Hudson Group The Art and Science of Trading: Course Workbook

This workbook + the free course will give you an edge in the markets
I bought Adam's book a few years ago and admittedly it challenged some of my views on indicators and such. Having been trading stocks for a few years now (not full-time), I recognize the value of what he teaches regarding market structure, price action, and so much more. His free course at Marketlife Trading is an outstandingly generous resource that goes hand in hand with the book. This workbook brings it all to a new level. There is nothing like putting pen to paper and drawing trendlines and marking up the charts in the workbook. Clicking your mouse to do these things just doesn't have the mental impact and absorption that the former does.Whether you are new to trading and want to learn essential foundations or have traded awhile but want to focus your charting skills to hone your edge, I don't think there is a better education package available at any cost.

Adam is the real deal
There is, unfortunately, so much BS out there in the world of trading. Always has been, but over the last couple years it has been getting worse and worse, as the noise ratio increased proportionally with the increased public interest in investment and speculation. At least 9/10 trading books rest on concepts that can't be empirically validated and are sold by people who can't trade profitably for themselves.Adam is the exception. The real deal, and although I have never met him, by reading his blogs, books, doing his course*, listening to his podcast – as of late even subscribing to his service – I can't help getting the impression that he really is a good-hearted guy with a successful trading career and a knack for teaching who wants to help others along their journey. He is a deep thinker and has helped me improve my thinking in a few ways that don't just apply to trading. In his service he calls stuff in real time, and while his ability to pick winning setups impresses the hell out of me, he is never afraid to be wrong and admit he is wrong, because being wrong a lot is just part of trading. If somebody tells you otherwise: Run!!Adam prepares beginning traders by setting the right expectations. No, you won't be rich any time soon. You're in for a very arduous and challenging journey. "There is no free lunch." I have been doing this for 2.5 years now and I might still quit within the next 2.5 years, because it is psychologically so demanding and stressful. But like every challenge it's also an opportunity for growth, and Adam helps with that.* Did I mention the course? The course is completely free and blows most paid training out of the water easily. You don't even need this workbook, it's just an optional supplementary resource.

Very robust book on Trading
I don't often write reviews but i find it worthwhile in this case. This book is very valuable for any person who wants to take a deep dive into learning to trade, or consolidating your skills or as a reference book. You will find many exercises that will help you develop some skills that you won't find in most books. It addresses most areas that are crucial to the craft. Whether it is chart reading, quantitative analysis, risk management, psychology, doing your trading plan & patterns, you will find something to help you. I use it as a reference and as homework to better some of my skills. IMHO, it is a very robust tool that will withstand the test of time!
