Very easy to use

So easy to use. Take 2 seconds to read the instructions. Heavy weight and well made. This holds the article tight and secure. Use them to tie down the transom on the boats and keep a set in my pickup for binding down a load. Wish the 1" was available in longer lengths though. Retracts efficiently, binds just as much. Retracting doesn't whiz back like a measuring tape and cut or whack you if not paying attention. Rubberized hooks mean no scratching. Have bought twice so far because they are so handy.

I purchased these four months ago (Sept 21) to secure my jet ski on the trailer whist travelling. At first was really impressed with how easy they were to operate but now the mechanism is stiff rusted and will not retract.. See picture. Admittedly I did have these attached to the trailer which is outside and exposed the weather. However I would still have expected these to last more than 4 months

i have used similar style of strap and thought this would be great for on the boat trailer.when it arrived it came with missing hardware.i got them mounted and on the 2nd time using them the strap would not retractthey would be great if they worked saves a lot of hassle if they worked now they are just a pain in the a**

I used them to strap down a 14 ft aluminum boat on a trailer one didnt retract itself and the other worked ok untill there was a slight pressure on it then the stitching holding the hook on ripped. Canadian tire has a much better product and life time warranty.

Just received 2 packs of these, and no mounting hardware included.... I suggest Camco attaches the mounting hardware in a different manner, so none of the hardware gets LOST before it even reaches a customer. Serious pain in the but to return and order new ones again now.....
