Bought these for a family member who was cruising and neede to hang long dresses up higher than the rails. These were excellent, the magnet is really strong, can hang more than one dress on each hook.. I could just about separate them! but they did the job so well. I have purchased a second pack for me for my holiday.

I bought 4 x 27kg hooks. You have to screw the hook into the magnet. Three worked but one hook kept falling out and wouldn't screw in so was useless.I bought to use to hang up long heavy evening dressess, maxi dresses and jumpsuits whilst on cruise with insufficient hight in wardrobe. The grip seemed very strong but once I hung a couple of dresses the magnet started to slip down the wall. I had read reviews about this happening thats why I had bought the 27kg strength in the hope that they would work but they didntveven hold one dress. What I also read was to hang the hooks from the ceiling instead. This was such a good tip (thank you!) and this is when they became invaluable and so strong. Managed to hang up at least ten long items of clothing in three clothing bags using the three remaining hooks without a problem. My long clothes would have creased up in wardrobe but hanging from the ceiling they were perfect.I've no faith in them holding anything substantial from a wall though but maybe something light from a fridge.Also when the magnet was on the wall it was impossible to pull it off despite it slipping down the wall! I had to use one of the other magnets to stick to it and pull. The magnets were easy to pull from ceiling.I would recommend buying these to hang from ceiling when on a cruise or hang swimming costume on balcony and would buy again.

My second set, because I found them so useful. These are very strong and will easily hold a jacket or a few shirts, trousers. Great for cruise cabins where there is a lot of metal surfaces and never enough hanging space.

These are small hooks that pack a big punch. Although they're only a few centimetres across they stick like crazy to anything metal.I bought them as we were going on a cruise and wanted to add additional hanging space to our cabin. They worked well when stuck to the ceiling and could quite easily take the weight of a dress or trousers etc. They were OK when used on walls, but had a tendency to slide down the wall if too much weight was applied - still fine for hats, bags etc.Now we're home, they're equally useful around the house - currently using to hang the torch on the fridge, but I'm also toying with using them to attach to the metal spotlights on the ceiling which will then give an easy way to hang xmas decorations without ruining the paintwork!All in all, I am really pleased with the quality and price. You just need really strong arms to prize the hooks off when you decide to move them!

These may look small, but the magnet inside is really powerful. We take them on cruises where the you can put them on the walls and just one can easily hold a couple of dresses or shirts. Well made and good value.

They are smaller than I thought and don‘t hold the weight they advertise! I use three for my mop…and 2 for my broom. I use them as I couldn‘t find anything similiar for the price!

The adhesive force of these (I got the130lb version) seems as advertised...it is VERY difficult to pull these directly away from an ideal metal surface...I've only able to remove them by angling them from one side. So they're strong enough to hold a lot of weight, but still easy enough to remove when needed. The shear force (sliding along a surface) obviously can vary due to the level of friction on the surface but they seem more than strong enough to hold fairly heavy items on a vertical plane. For reference I was able to hang a standard sized hammer on the side of my garage fridge, which is a fairly slippery surface, on one of these, and it stayed put well enough. These were strong enough that I could locate floor joists under my hardwood, because these magnets were easily attracted to the nails in the subfloor. Ditto for finding wall studs through sheetrock. This will come in extremely handy for home improvement tasks. I'm glad I bought these. They will be very useful to have around.If you're going on a cruise and need to hang items on a vertical surface these are probably the ones you want (130 lb). Anything less may slide down the wall with anything but the lightest weight items.
