No tools are required to install the Foot Pegs, although you may need a wrench to remove your doors. Can be used on the front or rear door hinges.

Careful with the delrin bushings
I love being able to put my foot outside with the doors of. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I have the Delrin bushings on my rig and these are creasing the bushing. The tine that fits into the hinge is a square cut instead of round like the door side of the hinge. I'll have to replace the bushings sooner than expected.

You need these for your JKU for when you're rollin' with doors off.
Great product, works just as you'd expect. Makes for a comfy doors-off cruising foot rest. Simple and easy installation, and beefy construction. The front door pegs rubber stoppers actually push against the hinge itself (not the body) so there's no chance of a pressure dent. The rear door hinges are setup a bit different, but the large rubber pad provided, combined with where it rests on the body should prevent any dents. One of the rubber plug style bumpers tore apart on me when trying to install it for the rear door, I contacted manufacturer via email and they promptly sent out 2 more replacement rubber bumpers free of charge. I couldn't be more happy with this product!!
