Noren Curtain Tapestry Ukiyoe Karauta (Japan Import)

I needed this as a sewn on curtain in front of a craft bookcase in my sewing/craft room. The shelf is a baker's style metal shelf system that is high quality. I tacked this on in front and around the sides with some upholster thread and it is gorgeous. This would be sheer as it is meant to be, when bathed in sunlight, but when covering the shelf it hides my organized but not super organized, not matchy-matchy mess of craft and sewing supplies, and even my sewing machine. Very pleased as now I can easily access everything but my room is "calm" enough to create in. The slit is cleanly sewn and there are no puckered areas or gaps between the slit when it needs to all hang flat. I couldn't have made something this nice without spending just as much or more...and I didn't want to.

Very happy with this noren, which we ordered to replace our old one. Quality is good and design is attractive. This one is actually made in Japan.

Very durable polyester material but the image is very graphic and wonderful. Nice dramatic effect for how I used it. Appropriate pricing.
