Q: Do these have the metal tabs that allow you to put hole punched papers in, or only a pocket folder?

No metal tabs--strictly a 2-pocket folder, with slits cut for insertion of a business card in the left-hand pocket. I use these because they are of high quality and are 100% recycled--and made from 100% post-consumer fiber and Made in the USA.

Q: Would adhesive vinyl adhere to the front of these folders? I wasn't sure if the textured cover would cause a problem

I"m not sure what kind of vinyl object you want to use but I would think any kind of adhesive would adhere to these.

Q: Is there a business card slot in one of the folder flaps?

There is no slot for a business card(s). But it's a good, sturdy folder.

Q: Other sites say these folders are 8.5 x 11, which seems to small to hold a sheet the same size. Are they in fact larger?

J. Linder, these folders will accommodate 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper inside pockets and yes the folders are 8.5 x 11. We've ordered and used these folders for in-house material but they work nicely. Hope this helps!
