Le Petit MarseillaisBath and Body 4 Soaps (4 Barsx100g=400g) (Orange Blossom (Fleur d&oranger))

We discovered this bar soap in the grocery stores all over France. Over there, they are the average low budget bar French folks use, but to us, they are a small but most enjoyable luxury in the shower. Bars are a bit smaller than the average found in the US but the softening ingredients and light fragrance make up for their size. Gentle for facial and body washing.

As I get older (mid 50s) I'm finding fragrances to be very overwhelming and headache/nausea inducing. This soap has just the right amount of fragrance and lathers really well. My skin doesn't feel as dry as other soaps either but I do have to apply lotion to my legs. (Palmer is the only soap I do not have to apply lotion after showering.) The bar is small but it is easier to handle then the mammoth 9 oz bars I have. I just wish it was a bit cheaper. I'm sure it does not cost this much in France.

I bought a six-pack of this soap after the orange soap I'd used for years was taken off the market. I didn't find this orange soap's smell nearly as orange-y, and put it aside. That was more than a year ago. Recently I put the opened bar in my kitchen sink dish and found that the smell was strong and wonderful. I had two other bars and promptly got one out for the bath. In the time it's been sitting around, either it has grown stronger in the orange blossom department or my nose has changed. I am voting for the former and have just ordered another four-pack. It makes getting up and into the day a pleasure for the senses.

So happy to find this available in the US! Smells wonderful.
