My children love this!
I have an eight year old daughter and an eleven year old son, and they play with this for hours at a time. They received the Quercetti super marble run vortis 213 piece set for Christmas, and they had hours of fun with it. Therefore, my son used some of his own money to add this set to the original vortis 213 piece set. They are very pleased and love it. They will build new configurations every so often. It fits well and is sturdy. Being eleven, my son can creatively configure his own designs. Lots of fun!

Fun, but not user friendly.
No directions in box, which would have been helpful for different construction ideas. Instead we just looked at the pictures of the setup on the back of the box, but I don't think we constructed it properly because the marble didn't complete it's course. My nephews still have fun with it and were very excited to receive it. They have built some smaller set ups not using all the pieces. The box was also damaged when I received it, it looked like it had been cut with a box cutter when I didn't use any sharp objects when opening the package. Some cuts went all the way through, which is unfortunate because the box is used to store the pieces when not in use. Overall, it seems fairly durable, the two year old stepped on one of the bigger pieces pretty hard and it didn't break, but I don't know how long it will last, given the destruction it received in the first 5 minutes. I'm sure it's a great product, but maybe not a great vendor. I'm sure there are supposed to be instructions, right?

Cheaply made and not easy for ages stated on the product
I'm glad I bought this on a lightning deal at Christmas because if I'd paid full price I would have been really upset! It's difficult to figure out, comes with no suggestions or recommended building guides and is too advanced for the ages it specifies. The only thing we had to use for a guide was the picture on the box and that was not much help. I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old nephew that has very good building & logic skills. He's amazing at puzzles and lego constructions so this seemed like it would be up his alley. It's probably already made it to the recycling container at his house...

Fragile with small parts
This marble run game might be good for children 10 and older. It's extremely fragile and the parts are much smaller than other marble run games I've seen. We have a 5 and 3-year old and they lose interest quickly due to easily breaking parts and parts not fitting together well. I would go for another game if purchasing again. Not impressed.

Solid fun toy
Continuously impressed by the quality of this brand. Purchased this for my nephew's 5th birthday. It has enough pieces and spinny bits to keep him engaged without being an overwhelming build project. I built it the first time, then he rebuilt it every day for the next week. It's a go to toy for him. Nice sturdy pieces, easy to build, stays together until you take it apart.

a few things I'd change
Firstly I have a small issue with the marbles They look like candy! Bright blue , red yellow white it'd be way too easy foe some tot to mistaken it for a gumball or hard candy pop ot in their mouth to either choke or break a tooth. As the aunt of a 2 year old I notice. I agree more than 1 output piece woud be nice & more ramp pieces rather than the clear extenders they're helpful but the ramps are after all the fun part. . still a very neat toy.

Still being played with!
We bought this set for Christmas for our 8 year old, who requested a marble track after seeing some in his younger brother's classroom. He loves building one configuration, running marbles through it, then taking it apart and trying to build it different ways and see where the marbles will go. It is still getting occasional play time now, even months afterward, when most toys are already forgotten. We haven't had any parts break so far. A good value for the money, I think.

Waste of money
This toy is very difficult to put together and is too hard for a young child to manipulate. It is made out of shoddy material and is very flimsy. The pieces are too difficult to put together and is uneven when put together. I feel that I have wasted $20 and wish that I had spent a little more on a higher quality marble run.

Highly recommended
Very good quality. My son loved this marble run. The tubes are transparent, so he can see the marbles run down. Also makes for a great birthday present for friends.
