Q: Can they be used successfully on metal outdoor chairs and tables?

While they do provide for an adhesive backing to attach to the underside of the metal outdoor chairs and tables, I would not recommend them for such use as they are plastic. The outside surfaces for which these would come into contact during moving and shuffling would cause great friction against the plastic side touching the ground surfaces and would more than likely work loose from the chairs as well, especially if they were not properly screwed to the chairs in attention to the adhesion.

Q: We have an antique table (1842) with casters. The casters are approx. 1 1/2" in diam. We want to raise our table 1". Which product works?

No this is not for raising a table. It would end up raising it some but closer to 1/2 inch. This is more for preventing an item from moving while protecting floors.

Q: Are these safe for luxury vinyl plank flooring(doesn’t stain tile)?

I the the same type of flooring and the work fine for us.

Q: I have a very large family. What is the weight that these can hold?

don't worry bout weight, i was very heavy 485# before my surgery
