Great non stick candy molds
Great non stick candy molds. Nice to have the droppers included. Used for hard candy and it popped out easily without sticking. Would definitely buy again but most likely in a different size because these seem very durable.

We made perfect little chocolate bears - see picture
We love to bake at our house, and it’s especially fun when the grandkids join in. I wanted a gummy bear mold mostly for making decorative cake and cupcake toppings. The kids and I can sit for hours decorating our treats, and it’s priceless time for talking and sharing. This set comes with 2 silicone molds that each measure about 5 ½” x 7 ½”, and each make 50 little bears. The set also comes with two droppers that make it much easier to get your liquid into the tiny molds (but I’ll clarify that in a minute). They’re BPA-free and made of food grade silicone (which I always look for before I buy). The kids voted on making chocolate bears as our first project, but we’ll definitely be making gummy bears in the future. We kept it pretty simple, and we ended up with perfect little chocolate bears. Here’s what we did. We broke up two candy bars into small pieces and put them in a glass dish – a mint chocolate bar and a regular Hershey’s chocolate bar. We put the dish in the microwave and started with one minute. They were pretty soft after a minute, so we were able to stir the chocolate together into a pudding-like mixture. We then put it back in the microwave for another 30 seconds to thin it out a little bit more (ideally, it should be like a thick syrup). It was perfect. We then tried using the dropper that came with this set, but the chocolate was too thick and it just clogged it. I think the droppers will probably work really well with a gelatin mixture for gummy bears, since it’s not as thick. So, we ended up using a plunger dropper instead, and that did the trick. After filling the molds, I jiggled it a little to make sure all of the chocolate had settled. We then put the whole thing in the freezer for about 15 minutes, and, as you can see from my picture, we have perfect little chocolate bears. The trick to making sure you don’t break any of your creations when you take them out is to turn the mold upside down and use your thumb to invert each little mold, popping the little bear right out. I might also caution that over-cooking your chocolate will make for a gloppy consistency that will be really hard to get into the tiny molds.Cleanup was a breeze because the bears came so cleanly out of the mold - there was almost no residue left behind. I’m really happy with this set and so are my grandkids. The molds look like they’ll hold up well. This product was provided for free or at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

Amazing quality, works for hard candy too!
I'm a crafty type person. I love it when I find a product I like, and I can learn to duplicate it at home with healthier, more natural ingredients. Two weeks ago I came down with my first case of Strep throat. It was agony... my Breezer cough drops did absolutely nothing for the pain, and I ended up having to go to the emergency room and get a Z-pack antibiotic to get rid of it once they tested it as positive for Strep. Then I started thinking... what if there was a way to treat it at home, without the use of the antibiotics that make me sick and throw my system into turmoil? These gummy bear molds were adorable, and seemed like just the right size for cough drops. I'd never made cough drops before, and it didn't say if they'd work for hard candy, but I was willing to try it. As a base, I used an herbal infusion with some herbs that were great for healing and sore throats. I tossed in some anti-bacterial/anti-viral essential oils, and some flavoring. To be safe, I sprayed Pam over the molds first, but I honestly don't think it was even necessary. These are so small that the mixture hardens quickly, I sat them in the refrigerator and in less than 15-20 minutes, they were ready to be unmolded. Normally our glass candy on baking sheets takes hours, so i was pleasantly surprised with these. Getting them out was as easy as flipping the mold over and pushing from the back, they popped right out.The dropper started getting plugged halfway through, which I imagine is due to the hard candy instead of a gelatin based mix, which I honestly expected. I didn't expect it to even work for half, but it definitely did. The best part? I thought it'd be ruined after all of that, so I tossed it in with the boiling water and Dawn dish soap I was using in the syrup pan on the stove to remelt the waste from the sides of the pan to clean it, thinking that it'd never make it through that cleaning process.Lo and behold, it did, and is spotless and ready for the next go-round. These are amazing quality, capable of making even 300 degree hard candy with ease. I already bought more just on the first peek at them when they arrived in the mail, so I can definitely say these are worth the cost and are awesome for candy making. Please note, I received this product at a significant discount for my unbiased review of it. I don't change my reviews just because I didn't pay as much for something... I feel like that would be doing everyone, including buyers and sellers a disservice.
