I was wary when buying this product as it was so low in price compared to other light-guide type illumination vests. Well, you get what you pay for. The product works just fine, if not a little dim. At night on the road - you can't be missed. The three levels you can set it to are always-on, slow pulse, and rapid pulse. My greatest peeve is that this vest does not appear to take adult size seriously. At 5' 8", I am not a big guy. I am a little plump around the middle (hence the running), but not too rotund. The belt fits me at around mid-chest. I cannot pull it lower as the light-guides are too short. Since I am 42" at the chest, the belt is extended to its MAXIMUM length. Others here have complained that the light-guides slip off the shoulders - that is not the case for me. The light-guides are so short that I have pulled them taut from shoulder to mid-chest. I am thinking that I should have ponied up the $50+ for the other brand on sale from Amazon. In conclusion: It does what it says but it does so with as little material as they could get away with. If it were 6-8" longer I think I would have given it 5 stars.

I run about 4 to 6 days a week, most of those being at night (due to my schedule). I used to use a single led band on my arm when I ran, which worked. Then I got this vest, I now have absolutely no worries about being seen! Granted I feel like an extra from a Tron movie BUT cars can see me! I went with 4 stars because of fit, when I wear it like the picture shows, they can fall off the shoulder. What I end up doing is crossing them over my head so I have an "X" pattern across my chest. For the price it is a great night time lighting system!

Update- I contacted seller bc the front didn’t seem to light the same as back. The seller showed great concern and immediately sent me a replacement at no charge. I was extremely pleased with the sellers concern and quick response. I have been using on my night runs and everyone who sees me comments on how bright I am and how well I can be seen.Just purchased and it does all that it says it does. I'm 5ft1" and 145lbs. Just as other reviews indicated I crossed the shoulders over my head and I was off and running. I used it first in the day without turning on to see how it felt on my body and it didn't interfere at all. I will update if I have any issues but in a dark area you will be seen. I will update if I change my opinion after using in the dark. I'm really pleased. The body strap is reflective so even for day use it's a good idea especially with changing seasons I may head out in the light but end up coming home in the dark. Received a nice email from the owner of the company I purchased which is a nice customer service feature.

I went with this product because it was priced within my budget. I ran my first 5 miles with it and it works great as far as reflection and night running. The ladies I ran with said you could see me from a mile away and they all expressed interest in buying one. I told them there are more expensive ones on the market but I was not interested in paying for a name brand and most expensive. I wanted a good product that does what I need it to do at a fraction of the cost. Having said that, I am tall, the straps would like to slip down so I adjusted it by tying the two front ropes together in the middle at shoulder height. I did criscross the straps as the mfg suggested for shoulder slippage but they still slipped. Quite frankly, I am guessing the more expensive brand would slip too as the design looks the same to me. All in all, this appears to be a good product for the money.

I walk about 4 miles every morning for exercise and I usually like to go out for the walk about 3 or 4 am. I live in Florida so i find that night time is much better as far as not to hot. About 3 months ago i began to look for a way to be more visible and after much searching and I decided to give this a try. I really like it as it meets 95% of my criteria. It is not as heavy or intrusive as a full vest would be. Actually i usually dont think about it as it is so lightweight. The lights are certainly bright enough to be visible without affecting my night vision. The one thing that i dont like is that it has a tendency to fall off of my shoulders. I fixed this with a twist tie from a bread bag holding the two strands together across my chest. I really would give it 5 stars if they could come up with some sort of chest clip to hold the front together so it wouldnt fall off of my shoulders.

Just as advertised and very bright. It gives me confidence that I'll be seen during late night rides and jogs. The only downside is that this was not made with the female figure in mind. I'm a large-busted woman, and the wires can't seem to decide whether they want to stay on top or off to the side of the girls. A thin adjustable strap or clothing clips on the top front would've been welcome.

This product is exactly what I hoped it would be. I’ve been concerned about visibility from the side and back especially when I ride my sportbike rather than my cruiser. Reflective stripes on safety vests don’t work too well from the side because car headlights aren’t shining directly on you. Neon lights gets their attention much better. The clear tubes are almost invisible during the daytime, so you don’t have to sacrifice the look of your favorite jacket with a safety vest. But at nighttime they really give you a noticeable high visibility “tech” look. I also bought the led arm bands (BeSeen) to compliment this product. Same blue color; works great. I would not recommend the “flashing” mode for motorcyclists. Police Officers take a dim view of flashing blue lights 😬

Great product!! Easy to use, very affordable and makes me feel safe running on roads in dark!! I Would recommend to any athlete that does Night time activities. Also owner recommended this tip—-and I had to cross mine to an X and it stayed put while running—— Just one tip for your new running vest, there's beads at the bottom of the belt that give the led straps their tension to stop them falling off your shoulders when you run :) if there's still an issue, cross them over your head in an 'X' shape.
