I had middle to low expectations for this purchase because Amazon. I have a complicated relationship with Amazon. Shopping around here can be like throwing darts and hoping you hit something that you like more than you hate or you hit something that isn't disappointing or weird enough to merit hoofing it to the nearest UPS store or return facility to ship it back. My "omg totally love it/meh but keep it 'cause it's not worth the effort to return it/wth China?? return it" record is about 25/50/25. But I keep coming back. Yeah, it's like retail Stockholm syndrome. To my point: this couch cover arrived quickly (wow), is a decently hefty and legit upholstery type fabric (who knew?), and it fits our shabby IKEA sofa ("the guest bed") really well. SURPRISINGLY well. Score. It was easy to put on the sofa (anyone who said they had to take apart their Friheten Ikea sofa in order to put this thing on was seriously overthinking it.) The seams are straight, solid and they align perfectly with the edges and corners of the arms, the seat cushion, the back of the sofa, etc. The pleats are even well done. It's NOT a giant blue parachute that I'm expected to tuck into the cushions in order to get a "custom fit." It's thoughtfully sewn, the fabric is not baggy and crappy once it's on, I'm still a bit stunned that this worked out. Would I like the cushion zippers to be a bit more sturdy? Sure. But I'm probably going to replace the couch before I ever have a reason to unzip them. Put one more item in the "Love it Keep it!" column on my Amazon shopping score sheet.

We just put this cover on our sofa. All the sewing is well done and there are helpful tie-backs for under the lift-storage part, plus velcro strips to hold onto the underskirt. The pillow covers we put on right over the old ones rather than unzip those and put on the new. They are very well fit. We like the mid-gray tone. The quality of the materials is very good, medium thick and denim-like. It doesn't seem like it will wear out as easily as the Friheten taupe color fabric did that came with our sofa originally. Plus it's no time at all to put on and can be taken off to wash it. We are very pleased!

I was on the fence about purchasing this cover for my old Ikea couch, as it's a but on the pricy side. That said, I was able to refresh my sofa in minutes. Installation is super easy and it fits very well if you take the time to tuck in things as necessary. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to revive their old couch.

Super easy to wash & install on couch. My 1 wish is that they would offer a cover for the pullout trundle part of the sofa. We use the entire couch often. I would definitely pay extra money to have that cover option! Also, maybe just make the bottom fabric longer on next generation of this cover and add velcro so you can tuck it out of way when trundle is put away. I saw reviews prior to receiving item about fabric shrinking in washer/dryer. My devices are prone to shrinking clothes so I washed all pieces of cover on cold, quick wash (30mins) and dried on low for 20 mins and ultra low 20 minutes. No shrinking! You will need to remove the leather back cushion covers though to fit the new ones on back cushions

This product fit well at first and was not too difficult to put on. I was happy. But I just washed it and it shrunk a few inches all the way around. That bottom section in the picture used to touch the floor. It still fits but requires much more pulling to get all the corners fit correctly and they are starting to pop off a little as we sit on it (the way the corners of a bed sheet would if it were a little too snug). The fabric is also starting to catch on my dogs nails. This set did NOT a come with a section for the pullout part. We have to open the sofa into a bed and tuck the extra fabric between the two section and have no cover for the bed part.
