Too small
Tried to attach this around the wheel and frame exactly like shown in the pictures and it didn’t come anywhere close to being long enough. Tried on a small Trek Marlin 4, small Trek 8400, and a XL Cannondale F4 29er. I suppose you could just attach it to a wheel without including the frame and that would still prevent someone from just riding off with your bike, but I’m not satisfied with that as a workaround. If this lock was another 3-4 inches long, it would probably fit most bikes. All things considered, I should have measured, but still taking away two stars because it’s advertised in a way that’s not realistic for most bikes. Changing the code was easy and the lock seems sturdy enough to prevent a thief without tools.

Nice for securing a gate
Purchased for our pool gate in a condo complex. Everyone loves the shape, size and easy working of the lock. We had been using a bike cable lock that was difficult to wind around the gate posts.

Straight junk
Straight junk do not buy easy to cut the lock is only held by 6 small cable then housed with a thick rubber material around it to make it seem thick I found out cause I had to cut mine with a dremel cause I forgot the code, will definitely not recommend you get what you pay for.

Doesn't seem to prevent wheel theft however.
The way the cable is shown attached around the wheel and one side of the frame in the photo, it appears that a thief could still remove the wheel and slide the wheel and lock down the one side of the frame. It would keep a casual thief from riding off on the bike, but I was looking for a small device to secure the front wheel to the frame. If it were a bit longer to secure between the wheel and the main part of the frame, it would be better.

Gate Lock
Temp gate lock for daily use ONLY.....lock with secure system with pad lock at night/travel. Better than using key lock for going in/out more than five times daily.
