Delta Faucet 72020 Accessory Air Gap, Chrome

I know barely anyone gets air gaps anymore but we got one because our state apparently requires it by code. We didn’t have time or money to hire a plumber to do the high loop.So we just got a prettier one. This one we like so far.

The quality is great, the price point is great, very sturdy. My installer decided he did not need it.

This air gar looks great with my new Delta faucet. It wasn't easy to install probably because the hoses were stiff from age. However, once all was in place it worked perfectly.

The price and quality were both great. I had no problem installing this myself. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to place an older one.

I actually bought this the first time a year ago or so. I was not impressed with the plastic internals. Also saw that the rubber gasket would look ugly between the cap and counter. I returned it figuring I would find something else. Everything else I found seemed worse or very expensive(Ferguson type stuff). But after an on and off search for 6 months I came up with nothing better so ordered it again and decided I would make it work. Pretty much everything else you read in these reviews is right. It seems a little cheap/flimsy. There is barely enough thread to secure it if your surface is 1-1/2" thick.How I made it work:I put the ugly gasket under the counter instead of on top. Yes this is technically wrong. It would be wise to have the cap sealed to the counter. This could be done with clear polyseamseal or clear silicone. The metal cap fits on the nut if you press firmly.Really happy with how it turned out once I committed to using this part. The Artic Stainless finish matches our Delta Artic Stainless faucet fairly well.

Solid metal cover with quality chrome; no metalized finish over plastic. Plastic air gap well made. Instructions are lacking, but there really isn't much to know. Gasket squishing out when tightening was only challenge, but that was minor.

Easy to install quality finish
