It comes in a GIANT box. That's the only downside. This was an instant hit for my cats. They are all right around 12 to 14 lbs and everyone has had a go with this scratcher. We keep it at the door of our bed but I will probably move it to a window. My floofiest big boy fits in the bottom half so it's roomy.

I had a similar but smaller cardboard house that has been totally destroyed by my bunnies. It did take years. I was happy to see this is also very solid and even larger, my 7 lb Florida white bunny fits inside perfectly. The house is solid corrugated cardboard. Cats and rabbits will love it. I’d guess rabbits up to 10 lbs and maybe slightly larger cats would like it

One of my cats loves it and that's really all that matters. My boy Arthur loves to sit on it and relax. Throwing a toy inside really aps up the playtime. Also when he's inside the box, it's easy to stimulate him by gently rubbing my hand on the cardboard to make noise, which he loves and then searches for.Box is well made, the art is cute, there are no snaggly edges. The box came a tiny bit crushed in one corner but the outer shipping box was crushed in the same place. No big deal; after all, it's just a bunch of cardboard.When this one is done with, I do plan on repurchasing this or a similar cardboard playground for my cat.

We needed something big enough for our Maine Coon-ish boy, and this is plenty roomy for him! He was on it and scratching immediately, and our other two (smaller) cats like hanging out inside. The front and back, printed pieces are chipboard, not cardboard, the cats' clawing on it doesn't immediately shred it, and it comes fully assembled so while it's a little spendy, it's also very functional and cool.

Perfect solution to a unsightly cardboard box. My cats, Lotus and Tiger Lily, moved right in. It’s super sturdy. Going to last a long time or until someone pee pee’s on it. So far, they enjoy scratching, sleeping and playing in and on it! Plus it looks super cool in the living room! So it’s a WIN WIN!

I was a little worried about the price tag not reflecting the quality when I ordered. But as soon as I got it out of the box my cat jumped right in and immediately began scratching the scratching material inside and then laid down and stayed in it all evening. It's structurally very sound and very roomy and has scratching material all over while being designed really well with the artwork. Highly recommend this purchase! My cat is a good weight but medium to large in height and she fits well. Nicely designed piece for the home, too without overly screaming cat.

The box design is great. Our cardboard loving cat absolutely loves it. He was a little too big to fit inside (he's 16lbs), but he hangs out on top all he time. Unfortunately he's scratched it death and it's only lasted a couple months, but that's not necessarily the manufactures fault.

The cardboard smells really bad but my cats love it. I decided to keep it in an area away from couch or anywhere I would have to stay by. They play a lot hiding and jumping out of that thing and that’s worth it.
