Q: Why does it say "2 A Batteries required" in the produce description?

Perhaps this question was for another product. There are no batteries needed. These are just basically padded bandaids that attach to the inside of the shoe to keep the heels from slipping or rubbing against the back.

Q: I need something just for my narrow heels. The length is fine so I can't have these make them shorter will they?

You'd about have to try them. They're not very thick (about 1/8") but it doesn't take much to change how shoes fit. If you have a little room these might be just the thing for you.

These don’t adhere well to the shoes. When putting my shoes on the pads came off. All four were a waste. I threw them out.

Nope. They don’t really make your shoe smaller. They grip your heel. I have narrow heels and these are essential in a wider shoe.
