Model 325 Canister Filter with Pleated 25 Micron Filter and Carbo...

I use the Ocen Clear canister filters on my tanks as the main filtration stage and love them. One has been in operation for 20 years without any problems (other than the pressure gauge needing replacement after 12 years). I installed this one on a new tank and the new version is indentical to the old one, other than an improved larger sealing o-ring. I always clean the lid, lube the o-ring after filter maintenance and never experienced a leak ... I like the fact that I can utilize the space inside the filter element for either biological or chemical filtration.

This filter has taken away any ounce of joy I've had with my pond. It takes several times to reseal after cleaning.

I have this on my pond, and while it took some tweaking to find the right connections to match up with an inline UV sterilizer and pump, it works just fine. It's easy to clean once it's set up. Just unscrew the lid, take out the cartridge and rinse it off. I have an old cartridge, so I will need to replace it soon. But I would recommend it.

Great filter. Need to be sure and use food grade silicone on the o-ring each time you change/clean the filter to prevent any leaks since this is under pressure.
