I had read several reviews that said this crimper wouldn’t work right out of the box. That was true in my case also until I noticed that the ON and OFF were in the wrong position. The little dowels on the knob are there only to keep you from twisting the knob all the way out of the tool.I simply peeled the on/off sticker off so it wouldn’t be confusing. Hopefully this will end the frustration for people that haven’t noticed it is backwards. The tool has performed as it should and I think it is well worth the money. Heavily made and seems to be very durable. Remember that when the dowels are touching it is in the release position.

One of the "hollow" screws was too "tight" it wouldn't budge and as a result the Allen thread got damaged

Dies are a little finicky to get in correctly and the sizing seems to be a little off, but that could be my lack of experience. If you need this occasionally, this is a great value. If you need this for your trade, spend some extra money.

So I had the hand crimping one before. It broke after 6 months. But this one is so nice, it doesn't hurt your hand. It's super easy to use. You just pump up the hand lever. It comes with multiple different jaws. It also comes in a nice hard case. I really like this tool. Wish I would of bought this one fist.Don't go cheap get the good one.I recommend this guy 1,000 percent 😀😀😀👍👍

It is rather difficult to use with only 2 hands. I have seen pictures with it mounted to a board that would be great. With that out of the way the dies really don’t match standard battery lugs only metric. They will still do the job you’ll just have a little bit of winging on the side.All and all for the price cheaper then harbor freight I was skeptical. It worked and I got what I paid for. If your looking for a decent weekender tool without breaking the bank, this will do it.
