Awaken pain free!
I purchased this mattress for The Guest House at Clark Lake, a luxury rental property, and another rental home in Naples, Fl. After sleeping on it, I decided to purchase one for our master bedroom at home. The difference between this hybrid memory foam mattress and our old (top-of-the-line) regular spring mattress is tremendous! The Hudson Hybrid provides total support while still feeling soft. The support provides relief from lower back pain and any pressure points. The very first morning after sleeping on the Hudson Hybrid was completely different from prior mornings...NO more pain! This is a no-brainer purchase. It will change your life.

An honest review for people looking for honesty
Reading through a lot of mattress reviews on Amazon, you come across too many generic reviews: my back hurt (how do you sleep?), nice and soft (what is your softness scale?), like a dream! (what does this mean?). I was researching numerous hybrid mattresses and settled on this model. Here is an honest review with actual numbers, like weight, scales, and all that good stuff.FIRMNESS:The firmness rating by the manufacturer is Medium, so basically a 3 out of 5. To me, this feels more like a 2 because the top of the mattress caves in a bit more than I was used to on my previous mattress which was all memory foam and no pocketed coils. I weigh about 230lbs so perhaps I sink in a bit more than lighter folks, but this being the USA I would say my weight is average for a male of my age. That being said, it's still comfortable and it seems like my daily "wake up with soreness" has disappeared, so it's already worth the price. We have also upgraded from a king from a queen so the extra space may help, and eliminated the box spring and got a platform. I think this helps A LOT.EDGE SUPPORTNone really. My dog rolled off the first night and she's only 35lbs. If you sit on the edge you sink a lot, it doesn't really keep its shape. I find it easier to sit on the corner if I have to do so to put on shoes and socks. Otherwise, I avoid it because perhaps it's not designed for that. The extra space of the king has prevented me from sleeping on the very edge as I used to with the queen (again, dog sleeps on bed). So edge support for me is not super important.SET UPI unpacked it from the box, cut it open like they said, and it inflated to about 90% of its size immediately. They say it takes 24-48 hours to fully inflate and you can sleep on it, but due to my past experience with memory foam mattresses, I let it rest and we slept in another room that night. That being said, I continuously checked the height and sure enough one side hit the 12" and the other end was about 11 3/4". Not bad, seeing that my 100% memory foam prior never did that. It's also HEAVY at 133lbs so you may need some assistance getting upstairs or in another room.COMFORTOverall, I'm happy with how comfortable the mattress is, and that is saying a lot compared to my previous experience. While the sinking in more than usual will take getting used to, it seems like once you're in bed it's comfortable. I do not seem to have an issue rolling around or getting out of bed like I'm stuck.CUSTOMER SUPPORTSince the mattress set up fine I had no chance or reason to contact their support.ADULT ACTIVITIESI will say there is plenty of room for adult activities on the king size. The mattress does not move and with the platform, the ship sails steadily.I hope this review helps anyone looking for an honest take on the product.

You will not be able to get out of bed
I recently got myself a king-sized mattress and boy, oh boy, it's like sleeping on a cloud. I feel like royalty every time I lay down on it. I'm pretty sure I'm getting more sleep than the Queen of England herself. I'm not saying it's magical, but I wake up feeling like a unicorn every morning. So if you're looking to upgrade your sleeping game, go big or go home and get yourself a king-sized mattress. Your dreams will thank you.

Soft and very memory foam-like bed
This was my second time purchasing a "bed in a box," which the first one was a Serweet pillow top hybrid, for our son, who likes a bed a little more on the hard side. For my daughter, she like sleeping on a cloud! so I opted for this bed because she likes the memory foam look and feel, which this has with the layers of foam on top of the springs, which cannot be felt!! In fact, I think the various layers of foam on top are why it feels so soft. As a 210lb dad, I don't mind it, but personally a little too soft for my liking, but my 100lb daughter loves it! Upon opening the bed, it immediately expanded, however, I do notice that on the edges and corners, it appears that the foam either tapers off or the cover is not evenly placed causing it to appear as thought parts of the edges and one corner are a tad bit off.... anyway, it's not really noticeable and with a fitted sheet, not an issue or visible. It's only been a couple days, but right out of the gate, so far so good. I will admit, my son's bed, the Serweet mattress, out of the box had absolutely no issues, but is firmer. Again, read the description of this mattress and you'll find it has many layers of foam, which more than likely is the reason it feels the way it does... which again, is not bad and perfect says my daughter, but not firm. The memory foam on top does allow you to sink a little, but not to the point where it's discomforting to move around - I just prefer a little firmer. Upon moving around, the foam does go back to its original shape/form for now... hopefully I can expand on this a few months down the road, but all in all, a good mattress so far. If you're still researching a "bed in a box," ensure you understand the layers and how they stack up because it does make a difference in firmness, their ability to maintain shape and what you can expect out of the box. I think these coil springs were a little shorter, due to all the foam, than many beds we looked at, which again, was because my daughter wanted a softer bed... and we got it!!
