I use these on chromebooks and Linux based machines- zero issues either way. I don't think they are in any way "surround sound" but the quality of the sound and build is very good. They also work on newer chromebooks with USBC- just use an adapter and zero issues!

Q: Will the volume not adjust on the ps4?

Hello Luis, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, due to technical limitations of the PS4, the PS4 won't allow access to the volume controller. Q: Is there any way to turn off the LED lights?

I haven't found one, but if it helps any, there are stages. First it annoyed me, then I ignored it and now when I get up and go to my dark office to start work, it's comforting. BUT, this is a great headset. Light or no, you can't go wrong.
