I was worried about how easy this would be to install based on some reviews but it was a piece of cake. With regard to it’s effectiveness, I couldn’t be happier, we have previously never managed to take the kayak out without having several incidents of it turning/ drifting in the river. First trip with this attached and we did our longest journey to date with no incidents of turning/ drifting at all. It has made a huge and positive difference to kayaking. If you are struggling without one, this will be the best £25 you spend!

Amazing and works great keeps the kayak straight instead of spinning around an around, alot less strength to keep the layak straight and able to move abit faster due to floating straight :) brill item works brilliant

Highly recommended for anyone with Tahiti canoe. Transforms the way the canoe handles in rivers and makes it track better and more reliably.This is a genuine product (sevylor).Remember to fix the skeg before inflating the Canoe.

Certainly helps with going in a straight line.Much easier to fit before inflating the kayak. Also helps if you make sure it’s not slightly askew before setting off.

Very easy to fit and makes a big difference to the boat. We have a sevylor tahiti plus and adding the skeg has meant it drifts less in the water. Doesn’t help much if it’s too windy, you also need some weight in the back to ensure the skeg stays in the water!
