My girls are both artist, they love these books and our family can’t seem to get enough of them. Even when on sale at a local store it is still a better price through Amazon. I will be purchasing them through here from now on. We go through quite a few of them each year. Wish you could buy them in bulk!!

Perfect quality and works with watercolor and really soft color pencils

I went through a rebate site and got a discount. My family used one sheet of paper and it was not that great. Very disappointment we thought this company looked amazing. Still I recommend every still try it out maybe it is just different material a artiest is looking for. By that I mean this only my opinion. Please understand I think the people that created this product are a 10. :)

I started using it before I noticed the paper tinted a light violet or I would have returned it. I guess it would be fine for drawing with graphite but I'm not sure many would like their drawings to be on a pinkish paper. While the paper is 68lb it is not as dense as it should be. Good for kiddos learning to draw or coloring with crayons but not for teen or adult artists. I bought it to pull test monoprints and it barely holds up to 3 pulls. I wouldn't recommend this paper to anyone older than 10.

While doing the first sketch my pencil poked through and ripped the paper on several accounts. This can be a perfectly fine sketchbook for some, just keep in mind the lack of paper quality you sacrifice for a cheaper price. I recommend using a softer pencil, I like sketching with a mechanical pencil (because I'm a monster) which can get very sharp if you use one side of the lead too frequently.
