Hepa Filter 6 mo replacement
It is critical to keep all three filters replaced 4 months to 6 months, the vacuum picks up with one or two repeats on the carpet. An excellent product. Thanks for the quick delivery of this filter. Three are needed.. input filter and output filter, with optional charcoal filter required.

OEM is worth it this time
Genuine Hoover. It fits tight.In the four years I owned the vac, I never paid much attention to this filter. Others on the machine can be washed and dried or otherwise blown out. Probably not with this one. I suppose you can take it out and blow the dust out, but the HEPA part probably has a life adn wears out.Somewhere between once a month and once a year is probably about right. (I tend to the once a year side. Your paranoia may vary.)
