Okki Nokki Acrylic Dustcover

PROS: This is a well made dust cover. It's made from thick acrylic, and it is very clear. It looks nice.CONS: $100? Seriously? In my opinion, this should been included with the cleaner. Why would anyone not want the cover? It's also a little too small in my opinion. You have to remove the vacuum arm to put it on.Aside from the price, I'm happy. I can't really complain, because I just spent $500 on a device to clean lp records. Crazy. :)

I bought this cover to go over my Okki Nokki record cleaner. The fit and finish wasn't exactly what I was expecting. What I was expecting was a molded cover like one gets with a turntable. Instead this item is nothing more that a square sheet of plexiglass with four holes drilled into it with bent over tabs making the sides. The finger slot openings were roughly finished with jagged edges. To top it off, it should have been 3/8" wider because the cover is almost too small to cover the platter and the vacuum wand side-to-side. If I know what I know now, I would have made a cover myself.

This is a very thick and durable cover. Only bad part is it should have been manufactured to cover more of the RCM. The sides bow in a little bit reducing coverage, but overall a very durable cover with a few drawbacks. 5 stars is for the thickness and durability of the cover. Still think it should have been included with the RCM, but it is what it is. It appears that many previous owners spoke up with their concerns and Okki Nokki responded with this cover and lowered the price from what I read of the earlier cover.

I just discovered one small crack after receiving it yesterday, so I am returning it and buy another one. One criticism: (1) the dustcover should be 3mm larger at the front; (2) you don't actually need the two handles, which allow dust to come it and fall on the platter. Or the handles should be smaller.

Dust cover is nice and keeps dust off of my Okki Nokki. The problem I have is that it doesn't come with the record cleaning machine itself. To have to fork out an extra $100 just for this, after you dropped $600 is ridiculous. Dust cover is a five star cover but can only give 3 stars due to cost and the fact that it's not included.

Like other reviews mentioned this arrived with a crack in it. I thought about returning it but I think the replacement would arrive cracked as well. It's overpriced considering the lack of quality control.

If you're buying the Okki Nokki machine, spend the extra on the cover. You'll not regret

It actually doesnt fit properly...it seems to be out of square on one side so it doesnt cover as much as the other three sides do. I missed the return window. Also, the spaces for your hands only let in DUST!
