Yes. It works.
I've had this for just over a week and I almost can't believe that it's actually working already. Seriously.A little backstory: I had laser hair removal about 8 years ago on my underarms and lower legs. It was expensive and took a few months but was definitely worth it... for about a year. All my hair slowly started to grow back. Depending on the person, hormones, other factors, there may not be any real permanent hair removal solution for some of us at this time.So my hair grew back and I've been shaving ever since but, I started to become very sensitive to that a few years ago. Razor burn and itching were driving me crazy, waxing just led to massive ingrown hairs, it's been really awful. I looked into getting professional laser treatments again but they're still really expensive. About $1000 for just underarms. I checked out the Tria and figured, at half the price, it was worth a shot. Some caveats: I think part of the reason it's turned my underarm hair into fuzz in just one week might be because I've had laser treatments before. That's really the only explanation I can think of. I'm literally so happy right now just because my arm pits aren't irritating me... It's the little things, ya know.I cranked it up to the highest level, 5, the first time and, yes, it hurts a bit. This kind of pain doesn't bother me. Long unending pain makes me cry like a baby but short bursts of pain don't bother me at all. If you have the opposite experience with pain, you may not like this. Or I would at least recommend using it on the very low settings. Oh, it also heats up very fast on the high setting and drains the battery very quickly. If you're trying to do you're entire legs, you're probably going to have to do them in sections. That's another thing. I just started on my lower legs and it takes a lot of patience. It's hard to tell which area you've gone over already and it takes hundreds of pulses. It's a commitment. All that said, this gadget does remove hair and at a fraction of the cost of professional treatments. There's also the added benefit of being able to remove random body hairs yourself whenever you like. You will also be able to use it again in 6 months or a year if you hair does start to grow back. However, make sure you have the right skin tone and hair color or it's just not going to work. That's all from me. If you really can't stand the hair and you've got the means to buy this, do it. It's pretty awesome.

It’s really working and I’m happy I purchased Tria for my attempt at being a hairless monkey!
Hello my hairy friends,I wanted to use this product for a few weeks before I wrote a review. I had been debating on buying Tria for over a year, when it went on sale I finally took the leap, best decision I’ve made on a large splurge purchase in a long time. After two treatments on my legs I was pleased to find that I didn’t need to shave after a week of watching for regrowth. I have several treatments left so I did go ahead and shave, it’s part of the prep to get zapped. Happily my legs have had the best results, my bikini line is showing progress, but not nearly as wonderful as my legs. I had some crazy stray dark hairs on my lip just under my nose, which was one of the main reasons I wanted a Tria for so long. I’m ecstatic to report that that dude hasn’t shown back up after only 2 treatments. It’s worth the money to not have to worry if I had missed that badly placed hair. Most of us have one or two strangers popping up in embarrassing places. That dude would hide too, I would check for it, walk out the door only to find him front and center in my car mirror. What a relief to have that masculine taunting crazy nuisance gone!I can’t speak to the long term claims about Tria, but I will definitely update in 6-8 months.* I must note I’m super pale with very dark hair - the product claims I have the best chances at success with my combo.A couple of bonuses I wasn’t expecting that I found were: the skin on my legs are softer and looks so smooth, goosebumps don’t cause my hairs to pop out and become scratchy stubble, blackheads are easier to remove, and the best surprise bonus of all is some of my large pores are shrinking. I don’t know if it’s temporary? I’m selfishly saying a little prayer that it’s not.I read a lot of tips and reviews before I purchased Tria and I found the idea of laying out a grid over large areas helpful, especially the first couple of uses. I’m finding now, after a couple of successful uses, that I don’t really need to continue the grid. I just use the highlighter to mark where I left off. Also, the suggestion that I shave the day before I was going to do a treatment was good advice for my legs and underarms, but definitely not for my bikini area or my face. That skin is sensitive and waiting caused it to be much more painful than other parts of my body. I have been hitting the bikini area right after I shave and that is helping with the pain. If it looks like I’m not going to get the same results as my legs, I’ll come up with a new plan. I know they have a numbing cream and that might be the trick. Turning down the strength didn’t seem to help me much with the pain, but I also wanted great results quickly (I have a big vacation in April).I have been updating my friends and family on Facebook. For me to recommend a product in this way is the highest praise I can give. A bunch of my women friends are really curious about the results and as soon as I’m sure I have lasting results, they are going to start watching for a sale too.I only gave it 4 start because I only want to give it five if the hair says disappeared, like they claim it will. I hope this review was helpful! If you are ready to purchase today, I hope y’all have the same success as I’m having.I was not paid for this review and I don’t get free products from Amazon or anyone. I worried that the reviews were planted, so far they seam legit! Happy zapping all!

Does not work.
It does not work. I contacted the company and they sent me directions to get it to work but nope, nothing. As soon as I touch the laser to my skin it shuts down. Save your money, time and effort and do NOT purchase this product.
