Olivottoil 2021/2022 Edition !!! Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil Wild | 2022 New York Silver Award Winner

I don't write many reviews but felt compelled to based on another review. Someone claimed this olive oil tastes bitter, and asked if that was normal. Extra virgin olive oil that has a peppery sensation in the back of your throat is a sign of the polyphenols which is something you want, not something you want to avoid. The best high quality extra virgin olive oils have a peppery or somewhat bitter taste, and Olivottoil produces excellent EVOO.I wish Olivottoil produced an early harvest EVOO that was even more peppery because I would love to try it. I would highly recommend this EVOO.

This is the only olive oil I’ve used that is terribly bitter. Is that normal?

Eagerly await each year's harvest!! can't say enough about this evoo. So good one can sip and enjoy as one would with good wine!!

The wife was shocked to receive this olive oil in a metal container. She thought it would taste metallic. It didn't. It was quite tasty and the packaging protects it from sunlight, that great destroyer.

Very good early harvest oil. Very little bitterness tasted strait... Seems to be sold only on Amazon... This olive oil is produced in great quantities despite the story on the bottle. OIL IS FROM A COOP not a single producer.

Very unhappy with this product. Tasted very astringent- chemical tasting. Returned item. You get what you pay for, but even at only 27 dollars for 750 you get a better deal with just buying Louianna at your local grocery store. Very disappointing.

Lovely light flavour. A little goes a long way. Will definitely order more.
