Q: Can these clamps be used with 2/0 AWG cable on 3/8 lug?

That’s what I used. I had to get new clamps as the old ones had failed. I did have to modify the clamp because the wire was a bit too large for the hold downs that came with the clamp. I also re fed the braided wire to the opposing clamp to get better conductivity while using the lug to attach to the lead jaw. Also had to use a wire tie to hold it in the handle. A Dremel tool proved invaluable to the process. So you can make it work. And in the end I have a really good set of cables. I could not find better quality jaws anywhere else so the modifications had to be done.

This listing is for the jumper cable clamp only, no battery cable is included. Spartan Power does sell jumper cables in 10 ft, 15 ft, and 20 ft lengths. Once again, this listing is for the jumper clamps only.

Q: Is there a strain relief mechansm on the clamps?

There is a Grove in the back of the handle so you can zip tie the cable to it for strain relief
