I am a nurse that visits people in their home. It's great to not have to worry about cleaning the thermometer after each use!

Best health related item that I've purchased. We've had this for more than 2 years now and have pulled it out when needed. We keep it in the original box with the batteries in the little package compartent so that it's ready to go. Once you put in the batteries, give it a couple of minutes to set up and you are good to go.Muy kid was sick with a stomach flu this week with a varying temperature over 2 days. Having this handy and ready to take a simple, noninvasive temp periodically was especially reassuring. Once again, I've spent the week recommending it to coworkers.The best experience I've had with it was a couple of years ago when my kid had a localized vaccine reaccion. The area was hot to the touch and bright red and expanding over 2 days. (We'd outlined it with a marker with the time written so that we could visually see the progression.) Taking a photo of the thermometer with the readout and the reaction site in it was especially helpful for the physician who had concrete information to use in recommending a course of action.As a bonus, our pediatrician's staff have asked us to bring it in each time for visits and they love it, sometimes using it on other bratty kids.

Always gives the same temperature. Defective.

This product is exactly as described by the seller. I checked the temperatures given by the digital thermometer by the old traditional thermometer. It was spot on each time. No trying to hold the baby/child still while waiting for the thermometer to register the temperature. And it is very easy to operate.

I can't believe I bought this ! I knew something was wrong when it kept saying the same temperature over and over. So I ended up buying a different thermometer. This one read 97.5 on my newborn when I used the new thermometer that I went out and bought it read 100 !!! My newborn had a fever !!! This thermometer is horrible and I do not recommend it ! Upset customer right here.

Poor quality...kept getting different temp readings with consecutive forehead checks..not at all accurate with regular thermometer....cheaply made

This thermometer is awful! It says everyone's temperature is 97.4. Really! Don't waste your money!!!!

This thing consistently reads 97.2-97.7 no matter who we use it on, who is operating it, and whatever state of health the person whose temperature is being taken is in. It just does not work right - my child has a 100 degree plus fever right now (as measured at doctors and daycare) and this will not pick up on it. We are using exactly as the instructions lay out.
