Redken Color Extend Graydiant Purple Shampoo | Hair Toner For Gray & Silver Hair | Tones & Strengthens Hair

To anybody with gray or white hair, you need to try this product. It makes your hair soft and shiny. I would totally recommend this product to all the gray and white hairs out there.

I first received this product as a gift from a dear friend who has white hair, like I do (neither of us have yellow tones in our hair). She learned of it from her hair sytlist. I love the product. People have told me my hair color is very pretty; however, after using this product, they started commenting what beautiful silvery-white highlights my hair now has. When the gifted bottle was nearly empty, I priced it at ULTA and learned it was as expensive as I thought it would be. I purchaed this larger size on Amazon because the cost per ounce was significantly more cost-effective. I just refill the smaller original product containe.

I love Redkin products. I've used All Soft shampoo and conditioner for over 20 years and now that I've gone grey, every two weeks I use the purple shampoo and conditioner, it's fabulous!

You gotta have shampoo and I decided to try this Redken based on its yellow busting claim. My white still has a yellow/green hue but I don't want to completely blame the shampoo because our water is semi hard. I am also trying a new filtered shower head to see if it makes a difference. I have cut out any after wash/conditioner product with color as well since I use a blow dryer and flat iron.I am sensitive to scents. This one is not too strong. I like the conditioner scent better than the shampoo. It does leave my hair clean and soft and for anyone not using the conditioner, you really need to because this is a strong shampoo and it needs conditioner.I have not had to use gloves and I do not see any purple. I would prefer to see a purple hue in my hair than this yellow/green. I really don't think any other shampoo will get rid of the yellow/green any better. Hoping it is due to mineral buildup on my old shower head. I tried a Aqua Bliss filter but that didn't seem to work at all and I still had the old shower head. I am starting off with a brand new shower head with a filter tomorrow.The packaging of this shampoo and conditioner is flimsy, at least with the 8.5 size. I have never used a shampoo/conditioner with such thin plastic. Perhaps it is better for the enviornment to use less plastic, but it is noticiable.This is my third shampoo in the nearly 20 months since I stopped putting in any color in my hair so I will buy it again. It works well enough for me to use for a while before trying anything new.

I rarely leave product reviews unless I feel very strongly one way or the other. I'm madly in love with this product. I've had Gray hairs since 17 and this is the first shampoo conditioner I found that actually takes the coarseness out of the grey and leaves it silky soft and beautiful. I was introduced to this product by my hairstylist when I told her I wanted something that would bring my brown out because I felt like my hair had become dull and almost coppery. which is when she introduced me to this line of redken shampoo and conditioner and I've never looked back. Not only do I accept my grays now but I actually love them and feel like they give a really unique look to myself.

Redken Color Extend Graydient Purple Shampoo has eliminated the yellowish tinge my white and gray hair had started to develop! Miracle!! My hair now looks better than ever — it almost shimmers because the white is now super white and the gray looks silver. I LOVE it. This shampoo — and the Graydient conditioner — have also left my hair soft and manageable. Plus, my hair is curly, and this shampoo plus the Graydient conditioner leave the curls soft and manageable, as well..The deep purple of the shampoo did startle me, and I was afraid it might add a purple tinge my scalp, but it doesn’t at all. I have nothing negative to say about this terrific product! I love it and will continue to use it.

I love this shampoo the best of all I have used. It makes your gray white hair so bright and clean looking. You only need a pea size with water and it will lather your hair. It’s a good price for as long as it lasts. I have several compliments on my hair and I’m sure it because of the shampoo. My hair stylist is the one who showed me this product. I think you will love it too!!🤗

I purchased this product because it was a suggestion from someone who did my hair for my grays. I like how silky smooth it leaves my hair feeling but my finger nail, cuticles and creases of my hand turn purple and it takes a lot of scrubbing to remove about 85%. I also do not like the way my hair smells after using the product.
