I suppose this is a book for reading all the way through. I have no doubt much benefit can be had from reading it all. We found it most useful, however, for consulting as often as any problem came up with our daughter. We would look up the relevant entry, and then look for detailed advice on the Internet. Therefore, our copy, ten years on, still looks new.This sounds like an indifferent review. But we were lucky parents. We hardly ever needed to open it. Nothing bad came of not reading it all in advance. We would certainly recommend it to any other new parents.
