This is the second time I’ve ordered from Artisans Anvil and I’m impressed yet again. This pitcher is absolutely beautiful and high quality. It has a hefty handle, a nice fitting lid, and is a great value for the money. I don’t know how they can deliver this product at such a fair price, but I recommend it. There were care instructions in the box and it was easy to clean, and there was no odd taste at all.

I considered this purchase as I have recently been coming across quite a bit of information and musing on ayurvedic practice, (I think I spelled that right), reading that copper pots have been used for centuries, and copper somehow "charges" the water, and allows it to absorb better, helps with minerals..etc. So, after some perusing the vastness of the internet, I came across this pot, and it met all criteria to allow me the most ayurvedic (again hope that is spelled right), experience. Pure copper, hand made, (support local or international smalls business big plus), 100 % customer satisfaction no hassle return, can't beat that, and its budget friendly! Icing in the cake, along with reading a ton of reviews that gave this lil pot a 4 to 5 star rating, it was worth taking the chance, and after using a few weeks now, I am very pleased. I can't say I've noticed much change, there is a distinct flavor to my water, and sadly being I decided to try this in winter where humans dry out faster, I'ma need to give it a few more weeks to determine the hydration factor and other benefits, but it looks nice on my table, compliments my mug set from mixology, and thus far I am very pleased. No tarnish yet, easy to handle, and at the very least I feel better every time I pour me a cup of water. So, cheers!

WOW! This is the best Copper Pitcher we have ever seen. So elegant and visually stunning. You can see and feel the craftsmanship that went into this work of art. I was looking for something for my wife as a gift for Valentine's Day and came across this magnificent Moscow Mule Pitcher on the Artisan's Anvil website. We had already purchase 4 of the Moscow Mule Mugs from Artisan's Anvil and they were the best available MADE in USA quality. No liners, no toxic fillers or chemicals like the imports, just 100% pure American Crafted Copper . Then I saw the pitcher and knew it would be a perfect match to the set of mugs we already had and love. The Copper Pitcher did not disappoint! It is without a doubt SPECTACULAR! I cannot wait for my wife to open this beauty as I know she will be blown away! There is NOTHING on the market (I have looked) that can match the Quality,Beauty,Craftsmanship, and Style of the 100% Copper Pitcher. If you want the best this is it! I've been using this pitcher daily for months and it still looks like new, inside and out. That may sound great but if this were real/uncoated copper it would have tarnished heavily by now. I've since bought copper vessels from other sources for comparison. So best case scenario this is coated with lacquer or something on the inside.I've also been keeping a small ceramic dish on top of it that leaves small scratches, which would be fine except it seems like a copper or copper-color coating is being scratched off and revealing a darker metal underneath that is not copper. I will admit this last part is more speculation. Perhaps the scratches are scraping off the coating and leaving the uncoated copper to oxidize underneath. They look a little too dark and black but who knows.Either way this is not as advertised. I'm sure the company isn't actively trying to scam people. I know for a fact that you can order from a reputable company through Amazon and still get a counterfeit, but hey at the end of the day it's the company's responsibility if they choose to sell through Amazon.
