8-Inch Replacement Drum Glass Shade -7-7/8-Inch Fitter Opening

When I broke my shade I had no idea what the name of this thing was to even replace it. Once I got tired of my lights looking ghetto I researched and found this item. It fit perfectly and now I feel a part of the working class.

The roofers' pounding sent my dome shaped light shade crashing to the floor. I shopped around and found this one on Amazon. It's heavier glass than the previous shade, the bottom is clear so the bathroom is brighter. It looks like it could have been original to the house. I am very happy with it and would buy it again. It was safely packaged in a box, surrounded by styrofoam.

I had a ceiling light that needed its shade replaced after I dropped the original one while replacing a light bulb. I checked several hardware stores near me but I was unable to find one with a 7 7/8" fitter. I finally found what I needed on Amazon. Frankly, I should have just started my search on Amazon instead of driving hither and yonder trying to find one. I received the ceiling light shade replacement promptly. Moreover, the item was well packaged and protected against the rigors of the delivery process. The ceiling light shade was perfect for my needs and I was able to slot it in quickly and easily. The design of the shade provides bright lighting in the area. Last but not least, I am quite happy with the way it looks, much better than the naked light bulbs I had in the fixture until this shade arrived.

I replaced a mushroom style shade that broke. It fits fine in terms of diameter, but the rim/lip was thicker than on the original shade, so the screws weren't sitting under the lip. I had to trim the insulation in the canopy to create additional space. It worked out just fine.

This shade replaced one I clumsily broke when removing to replace the bulb. In my defense, the old one was difficult to handle while standing on a ladder. This new shade has texture, giving my arthritis wracked hands something to hold onto. Plus, it allows a lot more light to fill the space it's used in, the pantry.

This is an exact replacement for my ceiling light in the laundry room that is 54 years old. I was amazed that this was still available

Needed to replace a broken cover but couldn't find one that matched the other fixture cover in the kitchen. Since this oe was over the sink, while the other one was in the center of the ceiling, I looked for one that would focus light straight down. This one d that.

Exactly what I was looking for to replace a globe in my kitchen!! I would definitely buy it again!!! Looks great over y kitchen sink!!

I broke the original glass and couldn't locate the correct replacement in any hardware store So happy I found this one.
