Right tool for the job
Such a great product for the job and the price can't be beat. Saves so much grease in the packing process. I would think this product would pay for itself after just a couple of used.

They're all hard to push. I see these reviews and guessing it is new to people. This works great. No grease fitting but bang for the buck you won't beat it

Works great!
From my experience and for future use is to not put too much grease inside the container. The reason for this is if you’re using a bench vise. This method worked out great. The first wheel bearing I did by hand and it was extremely difficult to press down. You would need a shop press to make your life easier but I didn’t have that. If you look at my pictures the grease comes off the bearing rollers and that’s what you want.

A decent value, and It works, but only with substantial force.
The only way I could make it work was to place it on the floor (after loading the grease and bearing), and then standing on the piston handle on one foot for about 12 seconds. I needed to steady myself on a high wokbench while doing this. My vice won't open the 6-1/2" needed to use it as a press. If yours opens that far, it may make it easy.

Works well, stores the extra grease -- what's not to love?
This thing is great. I have a grease gun, but I hate changing out the grease and cleaning it, etc. I just took a tube of grease, cut it open, and put the whole thing into this container, which I now use to store my bearing grease. Very easy to use. Much better solution than doing by hand or even the other cone-shaped option (w/ grease gun).

Great bearing packer
I had my doubts but I'm glad that I bought it. It is constructed of heavy duty plastic. Naturally, you really don't want to drop it. Not sure if it is mentioned in the description,... but it DOES have a zerk fitting under the plunger to fill with a grease gun. I just chose to fill it using a paint mixing stick. Tip: make sure to smooth out your grease to get out all air pockets... it'll make pushing the plunger down easier to pack the bearing.

It works!
Fair price and does a great job of forcing grease into bearings. Once done just leave the remaining grease in it, put the lid on it and put it in your shelf until the next time.
