Woot woot - come to Mommy!
This is an excellent set for training your dog/puppy, especially considering the price. Our next door neighbors have two rescue dogs that start barking whenever they see our dogs through the fence and a thicket of bushes (we're on acreage). My 5 month-old Aussie and 10 year-old Golden went down the field every time to check the other guys out and started barking back so I trained our pup to come to the whistle with three short pips and some cheese whenever the dogs started barking. He now comes right back even when there's no treat to be had. Our old girl doesn't hear so well but knows when puppy comes back there's got to be cheese or something' good - besides me of course : ) The sound is barely above a whistle when using it and not really audible at a distance. There are some great YouTube videos on whistle and clicker training too. Highly recommend!!!

We are not so happy with our purchase the whistle really does not phase ...
We are not so happy with our purchase the whistle really does not phase are dogs😥 They still bark away. I was really hoping we had found the miracle bark breaker and this was not it. We got the package timely but feel the ad was a little misleading about breaking the barking.

Good deal
Came quickly and was as pictured and advertised. I have used clicker training before so I'm familiar with the concept and love the wrist band because the hard part is managing everything especially if you are using a leash with the clicker. Good product.

Didn't seem to work for us.
Purchased this whistle to stop the occasional but persistent barking of the next door neighbor's dog. After several attempts, doesn't seem to have any effect. Tried adjusting the tone of the silent whistle to one more annoying to the dog but didn't seem to be able to find one annoying enough to distract the dog from barking. We'll keep trying it in case there is a "experience curve" of some type for the dog but we've not hopeful. And of course the fact that all the tones are inaudible to the human ear makes the process hit and miss. On the plus side, the whistle was very inexpensive.

Clicker 'ok' quality. Whistle did not work
I feel like the clicker is going to break. It's not as loud as it used to be. The whistle did not work at all but I think something is wrong with my dog since I have bought 3 different ones and he doesnt even move his ears. No he does not have a hearing problem. DO NOT expect your dog to listen to your commands right away. It takes training and I think people expect it to work right away. I have a belgian malinois. He is incredibly intelligent for being 9 weeks. He does better with regular commands rather than the clicker. I think this is because I have trained him to not respond to loud noises. I do not want him barking at things so i think getting this is working backwards. Otherwise I think this is a great tool for someone dedicated to training.

Great clicker
I loved having a clicker on my wrist. Made well, so it stayed on my wrist through training. The click was a nice volume and very easy to click. I never got the hang of the whistle, but I mostly bought this for the clicker, the whistle was just what made the price better. We started clicker training when my dog was a puppy, she's now almost 4, fully trained, and I still have the clicker, and it still works.

Useless
My dogs didn't respond to this whistle at all. I tried some of the training tips on how to use it and my dogs just looked at me like I was stupid when I blew the whistle, ignored me completely or went back to napping. I also tired adjusting the whistle like they describe but nothing seemed to change in my dogs behavior to the sound. The whistle just gave me a head ache and my dogs respond better to my voice commands so I don't see the point to carrying this around with me. I had got whistle hoping that it would help me get the dogs attention better when I need to get them out of the goat field or duck pens. They have a habit of ignoring me and continuing to sniff around whatever has caught their interest.

Whistle didn't work for my stubborn pug/schnauzer, but had worked for my 2 pugs.
I wish I could say this worked for me, but it didn't. I was able to train 2 of my dogs with the whistle, by my new pug/schnauzer mix is extremely stubborn. This is not the products fault, just a stubborn dog that is very disobedient. PS brought her to obedience class and she didn't do very well there either. Oh well. Back to the drawing board. She is a barker and walks are rather unpleasant when we get near other dogs. Good luck in your training. My 2 pugs were distracted by the whistle. I didn't use the clicker.
