Unstable Games - Unstable Unicorns Christmas Special Expansion Pack

I received it not sealed!! And it's only one box ! Where i can get the full 18 packs?!

I’ve been interested in trying Unstable Unicorns for awhile but due to my sons only being 7 I decided to give the “For Kids” version a try first. The packaging is similar in size to Exploding Kittens and the cards are similar in quality with a protective coating applied. The object of the game is to be the first player with 7 unicorns in their stable. There are a lot of different unicorns in the deck. While they are artistically different their functions are the same and you simply need to identify them by colour. Each colour of magic card offers a different power (as seen in my pic of all 8) and can be played for a price (or freely if you have the corresponding unicorn colour already in your stable). The neigh card acts like a Stop or Nope or other such card similar to other card games. I did seek clarification on the game’s website that the Neigh card may only be played against another player when they initially play from their hand (simply because one boy tried to block the other from selecting a specific card from discard pile). Game time of 20-45 mins noted on box is fairly accurate. I would say less players would keep you closer to the low end than if more are playing. Overall this game was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend. We all liked the artwork and there’s a nice balance of strategy that is enjoyable for both the kids and adults in the room. I definitely look forward to trying the full version down the road with my boys.

Really happy with the quality of the collectable unicorn 😁 . Would be nice to have an idea which one of the set I am buying next time as not cheap and I would be rather upset to get several all the same

Like many other reviews I feel this is extortionate. Haven't even open and played yet but gave 1 star just because I've parted with £23.00 for so little product.The game creation has already been bought and paid for with the base game.This is a very small add on and in reality is just dressing up the existing game which will only be played once a year.I'm disappointed because Unstable Unicorns is a great game and I value the writing and creation process of the game within the original purchase.Shame this is so unrealistic with its cost for what it is.Get real.

The instructions are clear. We love this so much that we kept going the whole night! It's not too wordy and oh my the Neighs brought such variety of reactions. This is an enjoyable game with my 7 and 9 year olds.

The graphics are very appealing for young kids (think pokemon cute) and the game play is straightforward. Powertip watch the YouTube demo, the instructions make it sound harder than it is. Games are short enough for young kids to enjoy.
