Good product
I used a different brand before ,PC, and this works so much faster. It's more effective and I love it. Downside is that it foams up so don't apply it too vigorously.

Very effective, easy to use, cruelty-free, and cheaper than Paula's Choice!
I used to use Paula's Choice 2% BHA Salicylic Acid Exfoliant regularly. I loved it because it really cleared my skin, calmed the redness, and reduced the appearance of my pores, especially on my nose. But it was expensive, so I eventually stopped using it. Now I am thrilled to have found a PC dupe in this product by QRxLabs! Maybe it's not fair to call it a "dupe", but I would guess more people are familiar with the similar product by Paula's Choice, and many of those same people are put off by its high price. They can do a little celebratory boogie because this QRxLabs stuff seems to produce similar results for a lot less!Like the PC version, this product is meant to be used daily (or every other day as your skin adjusts to it) after cleansing and toning. It can be applied with your hands or with a cotton round and left on skin until it absorbs. Don't rinse! I find it a little bit viscous and thick, definitely more so than the PC stuff, so it is a little more manageable, especially if applying with your hands, but it also takes a few minutes to absorb. I like to give it plenty of time to dry before moving on with my skincare routine, and often go have a cup of coffee or tea before coming back to apply my serum and moisturizer. I noticed some results with only the first couple of days I used this product. The pores on my nose looked smaller and my makeup seemed to cover my skin more flawlessly, with nothing sinking down into my pores. I feel like it gives me a better canvas for makeup, but also makes me skin look better naked, too.As with any BHA product, you should expect some irritation and even possible breakouts while your skin adjusts to the regular, gentle exfoliation. You might experience some sensitivity, so don't forget your SPF and be careful about other products you use. Definitely don't use any other exfoliators! I would suggest giving this product at least two weeks to see if it's right for you. Stick with it because your skin WILL adjust, and it will be better for it!So whether you are looking for a less expensive alternative to Paula's Choice 2% BHA, or if you are completely new to chemical exfoliants, this is a great product in its own right. It is easy to use and is very effective, and since you only need such a small amount every day, a 4-ounce bottle should last a few months, at least, making it a fantastic value! Last but certainly not least, it's made here in the USA and is 100% cruelty-free! YAY!! I think it's one of the best things you could add to your skincare regimen, especially if you have thicker, oily skin like mine, and I recommend it wholeheartedly!I hope my experience with this product might help YOU make a more informed purchase. Happy shopping!

Looking for an affordable alternative to Paula's Choice?
So was I when I bought this! For context, I have fair, sensitive, combination skin with acne, acne scars, enlarged pores, and the start of fine lines. I do not go out in the sun often, and I applied this product using cotton pads. I'm happy with my purchase, and it's definitely more cost effective than Paula's Choice Liquid Exfoliant. Whether this is for you depends on the desired effect you are looking for. My comparisons between the two products are below! This product is more moisturizing than the Paula's Choice formula, and while it is slightly thicker, I didn't notice a huge difference. It definitely felt less astringent on application. My skin felt plump and dewy after using it, and even when I didn't put on my night cream afterwards, I would have clean feeling, soft skin. Just like with Paula's, my pores looked clearer after using it, my acne cleared up faster, and my skin started to express sooner and more efficiently than without. My pores looked smaller, as well. However, the trade off is that, while it does tighten my skin, it doesn't do it as effectively as Paula's. I assume this is because the niacinamide counteracts the tightening that is caused by the drying effects of the salicylic acid. As a result, while everything else was fantastic for me, my fine lines didn't seem to do much in comparison to Paula's. Hence one less star.I hope this info helps!

Are you sure this is not a face wash?
I need the manufacturer to answer my question here: after I received this product, I tried it immediately. But no matter whether I’m using cotton balls or my hand, this liquid will feather to white, foamy, sticky foams. I feel as I’m putting face wash or hand soap on my face without washing it off. Is it suppose to be like this? I will Paula’s Choice 2% BHA in the past years and the property of the liquid is just so different. I need an explanation of whether this is safe to put foam on your face? And I need to rinse my hand because it’s so foamy, literally I feel this is like washing my hand with hand soap.

Closed comedowns (whitehead) savior!!!
I never write reviews but this product in so little time has helped me so much. I have suffered with closed comedowns for the past 10 years and have even gone on accutane two times now. Closed comedones are the hardest type of acne to treat and I have had no luck with different dermatologist recommendations, natural at home remedies, life style changes. I’ve tried salycylic acid before but never with niacinamide. The salycylic acid on its own would irritate my skin too much to the point where I couldn’t use it due to severe irritation. The niacinamide really makes this a gentler option for people with sensitive skin especially in darker skin like mine. So appreciative of this product and will continue to be a customer

Might work, might not
I wish I liked this more., especially since it has niacinamide in it. I use Paulas choice and was looking for a less expensive alternative. So, ok, this definitely exfoliates, but WAY too much, and not in a way that gives me a more even tone. It doesn’t help with existing pimples and is so over drying even with a moisturizer. I have super oily skin, and don’t even need a moisturizer with paulas choice. Plus the paulas choice makes any pimples popping up almost obsolete by next morning. Neither one did much for my blackheads or oiliness. But I think I’ll stick with paulas choice. This might work for a lot of people, but I’m not one of them. Sucks cuz the price is on point.
