My naturopathic physician put me on a 3 week cleansing program where for more than a week I consumed no protein. During the entire 3 weeks I used MediClear twice daily as a shake mixed with fruit juice and a variety of fruits. I never missed the protein, felt terrific throughout the process, and the MediClear tasted great. I'll use it again when I next fast, it really helps keep the energy high.

I have been taking the shake as substitute for breakfast once in a while. However, with my new early schedule job, I had the shake consecutively for one month everyday, and I notice my energy level increase, my skin, and nails. The shake is wonderful I don't use milk only water 8 ouonces, 1 cup of blueberries, 2 tbs of flax seed and borage (Barleans) oil, and two scoop of Chia. Very satisfying and delicious!!

The product is the most anti inflammatory supplement I have ever used especially when coupled with their recommended diet. Works amazing as a prep for lyme treatment and most other joint inflammation. Taste is a little rough in the beginning but gets much better with time as the body clears itself. I actually looked forward to it at week two mixed with almond milk.

I ordered this by accident. Normally I order the Thorne SGS Chocolate. I figured I would try it. It takes ok but much better when I mix one scoop of the SGS Chocolate with it. I know it has great stuff in it! I always feel better after taking it. Originally started using it with a cleanse. After one year and my diet cleaned up, I've lost about 30 lbs. I look pretty good now but I would love to go another 30 pounds!

I've used mediclear personally and with patients for around ten years. I've trusted Thorne products for more than that. The flavor, the size and the nutrition were the highest quality you could find in a protein based powder and this really helped people lose and maintain healthy weights. Plus it was a delicious and nutritious meal replacement. It's also chock full of detox and repair supplements with some pretty advanced innovation behind it. That was all until the BIG switcharoo. Somebody over at Thorne either decided the profit margin was too low, quality was too high, or they just "needed" a facelift. So not only did the size go down, same dosage requirement (maybe even a bigger scoop?) but the quality tanked as well. What used to be my morning routine, and many others, was to make a two scoop shake for a breakfast replacement. Rarely, did I add more than a few of my own supplements, moringa for example. The new shake uses the same amount and comes in a smaller container ( which also is not full when you receive it). The flavor and texture have suffered tremendously as well. What used to be a breakfast I looked forward to is now something I have to choke down and the smell even bothers those around me. They tell me, please finish your shake so we can. It's gross. And I have a case of these to finish. The worst part for me is not all of the above that I have mentioned but the mere fact that I used to be FULL FULL FULL, satisfied completely and able to forget about eating until lunchtime. Now, I'm full for about two hours even when I add another scoop of my own protein to the mix. And I'm never "satisfied" after choking it down. It's no longer a pleasure to drink and no longer does much of what I bought and sold it for. Shame on Thorne. Couldn't leave well enough alone.
