Best B Complex for MTHFR
Please read the detailed “About This Item” description to see the many reasons why this is the best B complex for anyone, but particularly those with any MTHFR defects. The 5-methyltetrahydrofolate used is the highest quality. The other B vitamins are also supplied in forms that require less of your body to break them down into useable form. For me, the addition of intrinsic factor, amino acids, etc. is desirable. Prior to finding BPLEX-Pro I was having to buy an assortment of supplements to achieve this. I’m getting the convenience of a single capsule and saving money.Three in our family have MTHFR SNP’s and each of us has different combinations and severities. Two of us tried prescription Deplin and had awful depression/anxiety responses that lingered 4-8 weeks after discontinuing the medication. The BPLEX-Pro has given us NO negative side effects....just increased energy, vigor, and mental clarity. I wanted to include our experience because I spend so much on supplements monthly that the idea of (deductible is met, so...) FREE 5-MTHF was appealing. We do much better on the BPLEX. So, if you’re on a prescription and aren’t satisfied, I would suggest trying this product.I preset our meds & supplements weekly. Our weather is always above 90 degrees with 85-100% humidity. I noted a color change in the BPLEX after a few days of being in our organizers. The capsules have never changed when in their original container. I felt like the veggie capsule, lack of fillers, and our weather contributed to the change of appearance. I called NutraCorp and left a message. The owner called me back while out of the country on business. Talk about amazing customer service! My guess as to the reasons why the capsules took on a deep red discoloration were right. The owner assured me the supplement had not lost effectiveness, but offered to send another bottle. I didn’t feel it necessary to do that, but have decided to pull the capsule from it’s original bottle daily, rather than set up a week’s worth. The owner, along with a chemist he’s known for years, decided on the types of supplements to combine to make this. We spent a long time talking about the B-PLEX and MTHFR. He is educated about the intricacies and ramifications of having MTHFR defects. I felt like he has put a lot of research into developing an inclusive, outstanding product. This is definitely my choice for our family’s needs.I don’t have any financial interest in this product or review, nor will I benefit or gain from the review. I hope it helps someone like myself who invests time in finding the purest/cleanest, most beneficial, cost-effective supplements.

I have metal tetrahydrofolate reductase deficiency. I was taking this for several years and all the sudden the company start making it a shame I really feel good and I kept my homocystine levels within a normal range. Their other products out there but I particularly like this one

I know I'm just one more person leaving a review, but I hope that my information can help change someone's life the way this medicine changed mine. I am a new woman since I started taking this, and it's only been two weeks.Prior to starting this supplement, I was taking regular store-bought Vitamin B12 from Walmart, not knowing that my MTHFR heterozygous mutation couldn't use that whatsoever. Once I found out about the mutation and my body's methylation problem, I started to search for a supplement that would help with the ongoing symptoms I'd been having that were suddenly explained by the MTHFR diagnosis:*Chronic fatigue*Depression and anxiety (with little to no help from antidepressants alone)*Muggy brain, foggy brain*Low energyWhen I said I feel like a new woman, I mean it. I feel my brain clearing, it's like someone took a hose and sprayed down all the grime that was keeping me from truly being myself, expressing my thoughts, being happy. I take the supplement about two to three times a day, but am planning to set up with a doctor to help me establish correct dosing, etc. ALL my doctors chalked my chronic fatigue up to being overweight (uh, I'm a weight lifter and am barely overweight for my height) and depression, but the week after starting this supplement I FELT the difference. I get up every morning ready to take on the world, ready to be happy, not anxious or depressed. My racing thoughts have calmed down, and I know with therapy and this supplement they'll get even better. The moons on my nails are slowly growing back. It goes on and on and on...If you haven't tried this, please, please take a chance. You WONT regret it.

Side effect (low blood-sugar)made me discontinue even though they worked great
For me, this was the first b12 supplement I have ever taken that did not make me feel like crap.In fact, I felt so amazing and motivated, I found myself doing more every day than I have done in many years!However...sadly, they caused me to have issues with my blood sugar getting WAY too low for no reason. Like my sugar was so low most days, I could get it back up. I went through a travel container of glucose tabs in only one day. I do not have diabetes, but I have had a gastric bypass 18 years ago (a Ru-en-Y).As a result, because of how they reconstruct the stomach, When I consume too much sugar in one sitting, I sometimes get a drop in blood sugar afterwards (Many people that have had this surgery know about this occurrence..The portion of the stomach that produces the enzymes that digest sugars gets relocated and so it inhibits the bodies ability to process large amounts of sugars).Anyways, I am not sure it is related. But that is why I already had the glucose tabs on hand.I have never had any issues in my life where I have had entire days where my sugar would not come up not matter what I tried. But I did notice that I would wake up feeling fine, and then after taking my supplements (whether I had eaten or not), my sugar would begin to drop within 15-20 minutes, and I would be that way for the rest of the day. I was only consuming one capsule daily. Like I said they made me feel great for the first few days, like 5 days, and then the sugar issues began. And I quit taking them for a few days and the issue went away, and then came back as soon as I re-added it.I’m super bummed! If anyone might be able to leave a review in response to this review explaining which ingredient it may have been that likely caused this issue I, and I’m sure others, would really love to know for future reference!
