This is top-quality tuna, poached in the can in extra-virgin olive oil. The flavor and the texture remain fresh, and it makes any dish you prepare with it shine. It's hard to find in supermarkets so I'm glad to be able to order by the case through Amazon. This is yellow-fin tuna, with a deeper and more distinctive tuna flavor than albacore. This is my hands-down favorite canned fish.

I make salad, appetizers and sandwiches with this tuna. Tasty like tuna not cardboard!

Used to purchase this tuna because it was superior flavor, etc.. Now it is HORRIBLE SMELL AND TASTE!!!A few cans just SMELLED BAD so we threw them out right away. A few of the other cans smelled strong but ok and about 20 minutes after eating HORRIBLE STOMACH PAINS AND CRAMPS! This could only be from bad fish - the product was bad to begin with. We will no longer purchase this product and I hope we can prevent others from becoming ill. It used to be a good product, but now, like a lot of products is just flat out bad! Please don't buy!

Tastes very similar to Genova brand yellowfin tuna in olive oil. Light with little or no fishy taste. Contains a touch more salt than most tuna but I like that. Full size 7 ounce cans, like tuna used to be in the US years ago, unlike the 5 ounce cans of tuna US stores sell today. Overall, good taste and worth the price.

This tuna is all the tuna we eat at our house. It is solid tuna in olive oil, has a great taste and beats any of the tuna from the big US companies. If you like tuna you will certainly prefer this As Do Mar tuna.

Seems like the tuna from the grocery store is getting more and more finely shredded, more brown, and odiferous than it ever used to be. The white chunk varieties seem very tough and lacking in flavor. Even the kind in the pouch. So I decided to try something new, and I'm glad I did! Back to loving tuna again, this is just soooo good! My husband and I both agree, this is so far above what we have been buying, it's a no-brainer.

This is a high quality tuna and I cannot go back to cheaper supermarket brands. I make a tasty green salad in a lemon & olive oil dressing with the large chunks of tuna. I disliked tuna salad for years until I was introduced to the Italian/Spanish/Portugal brands.
