So much fun and very sturdy and easy to use!
I am surprised at how much I love this. I purchased it for my 3 year old for Christmas. I thought he was a little young for it, but thought it could be fun. My 3 year old actually has no problem maneuvering this around (indoors only so far). You really just need to be able to move the handles back and forth sideways. I have found that you can do this either strictly using your arms, or also using your feet to push on the bar. Couldn't be simpler except for the initial moments getting used to the movement that causes the action. My 3 year old does not prefer this to the many other scooters, bikes, trikes, cars etc. that he has, but I think he will grow into this more as he gets a little older. This is large--clearly made for adults as well, but fine for a 3 year old of average size. (It will be very difficult for anyone younger or smaller because your legs need to be able to comfortably sit on the front bar.) The truth is, I love it more than my children do. I actually sit on it and go around the house with them while they ride their scooters and other wheeled toys. I also sit my younger child in front of me, with her legs up on the metal part right in front of the seat with me sort of holding them in place with my legs so that her feet don't hit the floor and ride her around. I will even admit that I sometimes ride it myself for a moment even without the children! It has a nice smooth gliding feeling and I think it could also be good exercise if you had a large enough space to ride it around. I will also admit that I have had guests (adult guests) who have also tried it and found it to be so much fun. I am curious to see what this will be like outdoors. It goes quite fast and has no breaks, so obviously not good for hills, but I think this will be great fun for everyone on a nice large flat surface without cars. I recently visited a zoo-type place and I saw that they had a race track with several of these for the children to play with. It is extremely sturdy and although I haven't had it very long or put it through much abuse yet, I think it is well-built and will last. Very happy that I purchased this and can't wait to see how much use it gets as my children grow.

Roller Racer still rocks!
I purchased a Roller Racer 13 years ago when my son, who has Autism, was in need of something he could make move without the coordination of feet and hands (such as a bike requires). He used it alot and now it is being used by my grandchildren (5,5,4, and soon to be 3!) It looks and works like new! I recently purchased this new one for my grandson, 4, for his birthday, because the kids love it so much that they were arguing over who's turn it was! My grandchildren love this! Now they have one at home and one at Grandma's house. The one at home gets used all around the house inside! On carpet or vinyl flooring, it rides well and they really enjoy it. The youngest boy is soon to turn 3 and is asking for one for his birthday. I think it will be a great gift and then they will have two at their home. Love this toy and it is very durable and well made!

Great recreational toy for kids of all ages!!!
I bought one of these for my daughter when she was 3. She literally used it for over 25 years. Used it all through school and when she grew up and moved out and came back to visit, she would still get it out and relive the childhood memories. Bought this for my great nephew and will buy two more for my grandsons. Can’t wait. Great gift!!! Quality and well worth it!!! The more the merrier.

Such a fantastic ride on toy!
Such a fantastic ride on toy!My children love this toy. There is always someone on it during the day and they even give the toddler a ride around sometimes. So glad we bought this. I went back and forth on whether or not to get it, but it is for sure a win.

Still as fun as it used to be
Our son rec'd a roller racer for his third birthday. I had him sit on the seat and told him to put his feet on the bar and asked him to swing the bars from side to side. He immediately zoomed across the kitchen floor and was turning around the center island. After taking it outside he was immediately off to show the neighbors his new "scooter". My 14 month old even attempts to ride it but his legs could not reach the front bar. I did catch him with his knees in the seat and he started to move before I stopped him. Now that the 3 year old has had the racer for 3 days I have noticed it seems very natural to him. He will often slowly ride around while keeping eye contact and talking to me. This is now his go to toy when playing outdoors.
