PrimaLoft 300 TC Hypoallergenic Down Alternative King Blanket, Damask Stripe

I wanted a luxurious feeling lightweight down alternative comforter. And I also wanted something that would actually fit and have some drop on our kind sized bed. This comforter gave me two out of the three. It is lightweight and great for warm climates or summer. It is also truly oversized, and it's so nice to have enough blanket to actually snuggle into. The only downside is that it's not as soft and silky (I know it's not silk) feeling as I had hoped. But regardless we are happy with it and I would purchase it again.

I really like it! It felt much softer than the quoted 300 TC. I would and probably will soon, buy another. It's like a cloud. Good for summer, not too hot nor heavy, so my guests say, it's in a guest bedroom.And the ones I know with allergies will have no problems with this one!

I wanted an oversized, summer weight down blanket to replace my 10 year old one. I couldn't even find one locally and was really nervous about spending hundreds to order online without being abe to actually see, feel, (and smell) the down. The only real down blanket that I came close to ordering wasn't machine washable so that was a deal breaker. I decided to try Primaloft because the price wasn't horrible, many positive reviews, and the large size is perfect. The blanket is lightweight which I love but it is very flat. My old down blanket was originally twice as lofty but just as lightweight. This blanket is as thin as my old one is after 10 years and many, many washings. A few of the squares have more filling than the others and are nice and puffy. I think I would like this blanket more if it was like that all over, not sure what that would do as far as it being lightweight though. The Primaloft filling is very soft. It had a slight chemical smell at first but that went away after a few days of airing. Unfortunately it didn't fluff up like I hoped it would though. The cover material is soft and bright white and the stitching seams well done. I haven't washed the blanket yet or owned it long enough to see if it pills. I decided to keep it but it isn't exactly what I wanted. Hopefully it will hold up.Update 3/22/16. I put this blanket away for the winter so I decided to wash it before I put it on the bed now that the weather is warming up. It fit easily into my washer and dryer but I do not like the way it came out. The filling turned into clumps and now it looks lumpy on the bed. Each square feels empty except for a clump in the middle that cannot be smoothed out. I have tried fluffing but nothing has worked and use hasn't made it any better. Very disappointed in this product!

Love this blanket. It iS very soft and quite pretty. I wish it was a bit bigger because I find, like with most king blankets, that it doesn't drape over the sides as much as I would like it to. This is a thin, lightweight blanket that feels plenty warm without being too much. It is a crisp, clean white which is exactly what I was looking for. A lot of times when you buy a white blanket it will have a slightly yellow hue, but this is a true white.

This is a nice large blanket. It fits my king bed well and we aren't fighting for covers. It isn't as warm as I hoped for.

Warm enough for cooler nights but cool enough to not overheat us, even in the AZ summer! Good quality.

Love this comforter! We had stayed in a hotel that used these comforters and my husband and I loved them. Lightweight but warm. Washable, dryable, and very comfortable. I'm ordering another one for our RV. And the price is the best that we could find. Others were at least twice the price.
