Worked as described
Worked better than expected. Very easy to use and would recommend for relatively small projects. I used mine to remove factory seasoning from a 14 inch Lodge cast iron pizza pan and also to smooth out the original rough surface. Started with 80 grit, then 240, 320 and lastly 600. Used two discs each. Powered with cordless drill, using light to moderate pressure. Surface kept mostly dry except when wiping away sanded residue I used a damp cloth. Drill attachment and velcro sponge pad worked flawlessly. Pan turned out smooth as glass (now reseasoned and good to go). Total time spent sanding was approximately 15mins.

Does the job
I’m a professional mobile detailer and I use these for headlight restoration. They get the job done, just. Being cheap, it’s a consumable I’m willing to replace often. The two issues are, being wet sanding pads, water almost immediately causes the Velcro backing to separate. The second is how rapidly the discs are used up. Sheets of sandpaper last and last, multiple jobs and you can barely tell they’d been used. I find myself using up 3-4 of these discs in one single headlight restoration. Do they do what they’re supposed to? Yes. Is there a better quality option? Probably.

Way more work than they make it sound like
My lights were seriously but still smooth so I started with the 320 grit. By the time I worked up to 1200 grit on the first light, I was thinking maybe this was a mistake since the light looked worse than when I started. I did one at a time since I was replacing the bubs at the same time and it's cold outside and bringing the light assembly in where it was warm seemed like a good idea. I think polishing them while off the truck might have made it more work. Anyway by the time I worked up to the 2000 grit I could see that I was making good progress and after finishing up the lights were clear enough that I could once again see the bulbs. I sealed them with Meguiar's sealer and that really wrapped up the job. This kit was worth the money but just barely had enough sanding disks for the job. I did both headlights on my 97 Silverado but there wasn't enough disks left to do the turn signals. The kit is worth the money but just barely...
