This is the one to buy!
I was looking for a bill counter that can accurately count and detect fake bills for my business when I stumbled upon this Kolibri unit. The price was a bit high for my budget but given its features, I decided to give the machine a shot. I didn’t have any fake bills around, so I bought a stack of fake ones from Amazon to test out the fake bill detection performance. Aside from some Chinese letters and lack of a magnetic ink, the dimensions, weight, and look of the bill were near identical to real bills. After some testing with a stack of half fake and half real bills, WOW does this thing sort and separate the fakes from the real ones.**PROS**- This thing is fast and accurate. I placed a stack of 200 bills and the machine counted the value of strictly real bills while effortlessly sorting out the fake bills, all without a single stop!- No more need to orient several bills yourself! Let’s say I have a stack of bills of random orientation and denomination and I want to orient them and sort by denomination. I first use the sort function to get all of my $1, $5, $10, etc. together. Then for each stack of denominations, I use the “Face” function followed by “Orientation” or vice versa. I was able to get five denominations sorted and oriented within a matter of a minute or so.- The machine errs on the side of caution with false negatives. Very occasionally a real bill will slip through into the reject pocket. This is a great feature because it is much safer to have false negatives than false positives, where fake bills are deemed real by the machine. Simply run the reject pocket stack through the hopper up top to ensure that every real bill is accounted for.- Smart design. The machine has a proximity sensor on the top hopper to know when a stack of bills are loaded, a sensor in the reject pocket, and a sensor on the bottom for counted and legitimate bills. What’s awesome is that if I have two stacks of bills I place on the hopper separately, the total value of the first stack is added onto the second stack for as long as the first stack is not removed from the bottom. If the first stack is removed, the sensor detects it and resets the counter/value to zero. The machine also will tell you the reason for each bill’s rejection, such as no magnetic ink in the case of my fake bills.- Built-in printer. If you want to see how many bills of each denomination you have, you can either see it on the screen or print it out or safekeeping.**CONS**- If you increase the speed, the accuracy of the number of counted bills, value of the stack, and detection of fakes deteriorates. The machine has three speeds. By default, it is set to the lowest speed, which is still plenty fast to sift through a stack of 200 bills. I found that it is best to leave the machine at the default slowest speed for maximum accuracy.- The display UI works, although it’s not the prettiest in the world. Sometimes error messages will overlay on top of each other, but I have not found these things to hinder my ability to use this machine or cause performance issues.- Price. Some may be deterred by the price, but honestly I think it’s worth it if you can bite the bullet. To not have to constantly stop from each fake detection and to be able to sort, orient, and count the value of stacks of bills with such accuracy saves me a lot of time and hassle.I’m glad that I stretched my budget a bit for this machine. I sorted and counted a stack of 200 fake and real bills about a hundred times in hopes of tricking it, but it never let a single fake slip through. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this machine to another business owner.

High-Quality Product at a Great Price!
Owning a small business and dealing with A LOT of cash, I have been on the search for a great cash counter. After doing some research I found that what I really needed was what is called a "Mixed Bill Counter," which the Kolibri Signature is. The reason why this is important is because a mixed bill counter can actually tell the difference between the different denominations while it is counting them at the same time. Other simple cash counters just count the number of bills, but not the total value. The Signature is so simple to use. All you have to do is plug it in and turn it on! The owner's manual is provided and contains tons of information on how to use this mixed bill counter differently for different functions. Mainly I just need it for counting down mixed stacks of bills, but I quickly found out I can do so much more with this! Things like sort mode, orientation mode, and my personal favorite face mode. Face mode allows you to make sure all bills are facing up, and does this all with one pass of the bills through the machine. Oh! It also has counterfeit bill detection built in to the machine that works right away. Thankfully I have not encountered any so far but I know that if I ever do, this will catch it right away.I have recommended the Kolibri Signature to a few of my friends who also own businesses and even let one of the use the one I purchased for a day. He said he'd buy it from me but there is no way I could part with it. Looking forward to counting down all my future stacks and getting an accurate and reliable read ever single time.

Super efficient money counter
This money counter does exactly what I need it for. It can detect a multitude of different forgery techniques even those unnoticed by the naked eye.I like the fact that the machine isn’t just a touch screen but that it still has buttons to quickly change the settings and modes. For example I use the Count and Mix settings frequently and interchangeably. So having a button catered to the modes makes my job much easier.Another cool feature is that the machine doesn’t require a ton of electricity so it can truly be portable. I am able to power it with my portable power bank (as I show in the video).Setting up the money counter for the first time is crucial for a smooth experience. My personal advice is to make sure the money feeder is in the correct orientation otherwise the bills won’t get fed properly which may lead to them getting ripped. There is a holder called the “reject pocket” which is so smart. It catches all the bills that didn’t fit the system requirements or the parameters of the mode/setting. So now I don’t need to guess which or what bills are problematic as the “reject pocket” will show you the exact bills that were an issue.Another cool feature is that there is a paper printer to print a receipt of the transactions that I ran. For example if I want the machine to print the summary of a certain counting and the sum total I can print it directly from the machine and have the print out as proof.

Works great, reliable, has a real manual and a 3 year warranty
Running my business at craft shows, local grocery stores and other places I end up having a lot of bills. Counting them by hand takes a lot of time and effort. We decided to buy this money counter due to the fact it is heavy, sturdy, fast, accurate and I love the 3 year warranty that they have. They also included numbers to call tech support if I ever need it.At the end of a busy day dealing with buyers and exhaustion, the last thing I want to do is count out bills. The machine also comes with a manual that you can hold and read, and not one that you have to go online and download and print yourself.I have run my bills through this about 11 times so far, and each time it counted the money 100% correct. I even mixed up the bills and it was still correct. This machine may seem expensive, but when it does what you want it to do, it’s worth every penny. It is very easy to operate and also comes with a counter that lets you know how many bills it processed and the amount.

This thing is a “Counting Machine”!
So far I am extremely happy, no matter how crinkled the bill, this machine will count through it. Of corse being skeptical I counted several stacks and then hand counted to make sure it was accurate. Super helpful that it has the second pocket for sorting otherwise sorting is extremely annoying with other bill counters. It was a busy day so I used it for several hours, and then came back the next day and every time so far it has been consistently counting and working. This thing saves me hours, because I don’t feel the need to recount ( if you can’t tell I don’t trust machines). I have spot checked about 10 times and it is always accurate. I am happy I got it.
