G.I. Style Stainless Steel 1qt. Canteen with Cup and Vented LID with Surplus G.I. Issue Canteen Cover. (Woodland camouflage)

I bought this canteen, cup & lid for hiking & camping. I purchased this with the P-Pouch which is a poorly fitting substitute for a real pouch although it will hold the entire kit. I wish I had purchased the actual carry pouch for a little more money. However, that's not why I'm giving this one star.I'm giving this canteen 1 star because it leaks. I used the canteen & cup for about 3 weeks until I noticed that the canteen began leaking around the flange which is also a seam where the bottom and top is joined.

I bought this because it was stainless steal and not aluminum and considerably less expensive than titanium. I am very happy with it! I read all the reviews before I bought it and mostly they were positive. I have to say it’s well made basically compact and over all light weight. I bought the coyote color and that bag is great and has molly straps so you can attach it to anything. The kit does not fit in the bag all that well but I like it anyway. Over all it’s just what I wanted for an over night trip or as part of my car kit or emergency bag.I added a folding stove and a fork and I’m ready to adventure. Highly reccomend this as a well made budget friendly item for camping, bushcraft and general outdoor needs.

I'm not sure what this is meant for; it's too heavy for the amount of water it holds. Built like a tank, but perhaps overbuilt for backpacking or carrying any distance. The weight of this thing will make you need more water than it can hold. I do like the pouch it comes in, it doesn't fit the canteen very well because it's a plate armor carrier and not a canteen cover, but I like it for other pouch uses; it's very well made.

I own 4vsets of these. Perfect for my packs. I prefer the standard canteen holder with small pockets on the sides to keep my coffee makings in. A bushbox fits in aswell to complete my coffee setup all in one. Tge stainless canteen and cup with vented lid work perfect. Well made and sturdy. Highly reccomend them

Although the metal is pretty sturdy and resilient there are a few issues with this kit.When choosing the square pouch it doesn't fit the set, so it doesn't fully close.The canteen opening (mouth) is very very narrow, making it near impossible to clean the inside. Mine has a little rust on the inside that I seem to get cleaned.The chain that connected the cap to the canteen rusted very easily.The black plastic cap is kind of flimsy.

Haven't used it yet since it's part of my survival/bug out kit. Appears to very well made. Very fair price compared to some other stainless steel canteen/cup products on the market.

This thing is a little CHAMP. Fairly lightweight, stainless steel, and it's very affordable. The bag straps to the back of my pack easily. The velcro on the lid actually works and keeps it closed. I really have no complaints, it's a great little canteen that you can cook with.

Only down side is MADE IN CHINA stickers all over it you would think us mad but nope
