Absolutely love this belt. My son is 17 and got a job as apprentice electrician; he is six feet tall, but only has a 28-29 inch waist! The one-size-fits-all belts simply would not fit. Gatorback is one of the only tool belt makers that makes dedicated sizes (S, M, L, XL). Top professional (i think it's as good as the Kleins, which is saying a lot) quality tool belt. I (and my son) HIGHLY recommend this belt!!! It distributes the weight of tools and is extremely secure. Makes my sons tools seem a lot lighter. Even provides back support. Makes movement, squatting, bending over, easy and secure.We'll be buying another when my other son gets his apprenticeship. My original GatorBack belt (12 years old) somehow shrunk. I went to Home Depot and purchased a Husky belt for replacement (12 year old bags were fine). When I went to place my old bags on the new Husky belt, I noticed the Husky belt was a thin, non-padded, POS crappy Chinese made facsimile of a real tool belt.I immediately ordered a new GatorBack belt and took the sorry assed excuse of a tool belt back to Home Depot. If you are going to be wearing tool bags full of tools and fasteners for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, do yourself a favor and buy a top quality tool belt like this GatorBack. Your back, neck, head and attitude will thank you each and every day. Just like work boots, a top quality tool belt is priceless.

I have used and had them all . This belt is above and beyond anything I have used to date . 15 years in the trades as an Electrician has put some miles on my back . I wish I would have purchased this years ago .High quality heavy duty stitching on the belt loop hooks .The back support is PHENOMENOL !! Really guys , this helps you more than you know .Although I went with a different bag system (tough built clip tech ) NO belt has ever held my bags with zero sag : Welcome to ZERO SAG gentleman . This belt stays on your hip and does NOT slide down by the end of the day .Shoulder harness is PERFECT , My bags feel weightless now . REALLY .I am 6ft 190lbs and the medium size fits perfect . And i use it on the middle holes = which has the ability to either go tighter if I want , or if i gain weight , I'm still good to go .Get it , you will NOT regret it . Trust me , There is nothing but JUNK out there .

I really don’t know what to say other than this too but is very light weight and I love the support you get on your back and your hips with the year phone I love that it’s a two belt system so you have a back support part in the belt around it. I also love the fact that it comes prepped with loops so you can add suspenders if you’d like. And finally I really like the fact that The bill comes with loops on each side of your hips to be able to carry the belt around the job site before you have to put it on

This tool belt is hands down the most comfortable tool belt ive ever owned. Its like wearing a cloud! Seriously though, you can barely tell you have a tool belt on and this is with a fairly decent amount of reinforcing ironworker tools attached. Ive encouraged coworkers to try it on since it looks comfortable every is always asking how it feels, anyone that has tried it on has bought there own right after. Material is heavy duty and has held up extremely well over the last 6+ Months working in all elements. Id give this belt a 6th star if i could! 5-9 150lbs i ordered a small. Fits great.

Great customer support and comfortable belt. I'm waist size 30-31 so I ordered medium to make sure it would fit over clothes in winter... However was way too big, so sizing is a little off. But no hassle returning it and they even shipped the new one with free two day shipping. Very comfortable too, with great padding.I used to use Occidental's sheepskin belt padding but I found that rather uncomfortable, especially for the price.... I find leather cumbersome and uncomfortable, especially when kneeling/crouching. This belt has better padding IMO and is easier to move around in. Seems sturdy too so should hold up over time..

The belt arrived 4 days early, a big bonus. The belt is very comfortable and seems very well made. Pouches stay in place on the belt via velco on the belt and pouches which is great, no pouches sliding around. They stay put. Padding helps a lot and provides plenty of support. I wear a 36 pants and ordered a large belt. It fit but only had 1-2 notches left for adjustment. I plan to use this in the winter so I've decided to return it for an XL so it will fit over a coat or hoodie easily. Definitely going to buy more stuff from Gatorback if I need any other pouches or belts.

The padding on the belt is super comfortable especially because I’m skinny and I’m a framer and with all the tools and such it weighs about half of me! My pouches fit nicely into the slots. Had to get a replacement one due to my buddies Occidentals being too big. Haven’t tested it out yet but will be able to update the review as soon as I get back to work!

The belt itself is very comfortable. I have a 36" waist and bought the Large 35"-39" Waist belt which was way too big. I ordered the Large 35"-39" Waist belt and it fit well with room to spare... watch the sizing!! When I tried to return the first belt the Alpha Tools didn't answer me. After waiting for well over a week for a response i made a claim with Amazon and received a refund the next day! Thanks Amazon!! Oddly, I then received an email from Alpha Tools DEMANDING the belt be returned ASAP though they didn't even show a return address. Good product, poor company...

I started wearing this belt less than two months ago. I love the idea of this belt - the padding, ventilation gaps, size and feel/comfort - but after 2 months of moderate use (I am a carpenter) the velcro has completely worn through and the leather belt portion is cracking and starting to rip/tear. I would be lucky to get another month out of this belt. I don't think the material near the buckle is leather, it is cracking like a synthetic product and doesn't feel like real leather. Had my inexpensive padded dewalt belt for 5 years, and this one at three times the price is failing after only two months. I think It's worth paying a little more for a Buckaroo, Diamondback or Occidental Belt. Hold this one up next to those and theres no comparison in terms of quality.
