This wire is more expensive than other memory wire but... 1— it is slightly thinner so smaller hole beads or gem beads with tight holes will fit on it. 2— it gives a nicer look to certain designs, example turquoise and copper beads. 3— it might be a bit easier to wear. Some of the other memory wire can be tight on the wrist.This is enough reason for me to place a second order after my initial trial of each color, but will make sure I get to the minimum free shipping amount for this seller.

I just bought this wire for my first venture into using memory wire, and I made a lovely bracelet. I'm looking forward to making more. Making the loops at the ends (to keep the beads from sliding off) was easily done with my normal round-nosed pliers. My digital caliper measures the thickness of this wire at 0.60 mm, which is between 22 gauge and 23 gauge -- not 29 gauge as described in the product information. I think 29-gauge would be less sturdy, so I'm glad this is a bit thicker.

finding easy use and works well...

now I know why my beading friends advised me against this wire. Copper is not as strong as other metals, so the memory wire does not stay as nicely coiled. I still like it, though. I'm just more careful when wearing it.
