I have an expensive Gitzo tripod, but it did not come with a leveler built in. They sell one for $275! I bought this one instead and it works great! Easy to install and take off when not in use. Also comes with a high quality bag/case for storage. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is an excellent leveling base for my Leofoto PG-1 Gimbal. It is very sturdy and works very easily. If you are looking for a leveling base, I recommend it

Good device ,just incorrect bubble level, you have to use on camera level...if you have one . Locking lever is uncomfortable to lock.

This is a strong and stable head. It is easy to lock it in place with one hand. I use it with my star tracker, so it has to work properly. It is well worth the investment.

This was almost a usable solution. The locking mechanism is a pain to operate. No worth it.

This is a good leveling base, very well made and looks great, but the one major con I’ve found is that it’s hard to loosen and tighten with one hand, which is important because you need at least one hand free to hold and balance your camera up top if attached. Still 5 stars for the exceptional build

Compared to the Neewer leveler I just tried, and which failed to lock in tightly enough, this thing seems to be the bomb. Yes, twice the price, but worth every penny from all indications. Not only is the operation more positive with a good tight lock-down, but it’s got a much wider base which is better for my Manfrotto fluid head which is pretty large in diameter. The bubble level on the LB-75 juts out enough to actually be of use, so it’s just a more appropriate choice anyway.If I find that this lets me down I will update the review, but all indications are that it will be great.

I've taken this into the field to do a cityscape pano. It's well made, works well and is easy to use. If you are looking for something that works great without breaking the bank, try this one.

Excellent leveling base for a manfrotto fluid head. Well constructed and when locked down it doesn't budge!

I used this on my star tracker..so I can level this without adjusting the legs of my tripod. This is a good and saves time .. no more adjusting the legs of the tripod..just level it and capture the stars

The levelling head is solid, appears strong and well made. Easy to use - the small built-in bullet level is good for a rough level but I use a simple two-way bubble level which sits comfortably on the large mounting plate and allows precise control. The large butterfly ring lock has only a short throw and can be hard to loosen if, like me, your thumbs are a bit arthritic, so be careful not to over tighten.
