Why Amazon Review Ratings can be very very misleading.
I've bought this product twice. (Actually thrice, I bought a pair for my dad)So I must have liked the boots the first time around.Well sure, they were okay for the price point, these are cheap compared to many other safety work boots, and my first pair lasted a year of occasional, but hard, use. I'd estimate 5-6 months of actual workday wear over a calendar year. The first pair were good for 9 calendar months, but comfort and waterproofing dropped off as the year mark approached.Second pair actually gave up at about six-months of ownership, a running repair of silicon, then JB Weld kept them in the game but at less than a year they left boot was leaking badly again. What can I say from the experience? Especially given the many good reviews for these boots. I can only conclude that the quality of this product has changed for the worse. That brings me to the title of the review. A product can at the outset be of good quality and over time garner a lot of good reviews - honestly given based on past performance. But what happens should that product quality change for the worse?I suspect this is the case here, something has changed in the manufacturing process, I confess I (and many others) might just have been unlucky, but reading the newer reviews I'm seeing a pattern, the current product isn't as good as the same branded boots from two or so years ago.Without a filter for say the last 6 months of reviews it's possible for a product which is declining in quality to benefit from the past standard to which in no longer matches - creating a false impression about the quality available from new.In conclusion despite buying these boots more than once, I can't recommend them based on the last pair I owned.

Brilliant!!! Comfortable, warm, waterproof, durable.
These fit as expected and are really comfortable boots. Feel well constructed, are really rugged, with a thick comfortable sole that has plenty of grip. These feel like they will last a long time. The fur lining adds extra comfort and warmth. Best boots of this type I’ve ever bought, they are much better than some of the more expensive brands. Worn everyday for a month and a half, they are still as comfortable as day one, still warm and waterproof, and are not showing any signs of wear. Really happy with these boots, I would definitely buy them again and am happy to recommend them.

Great purchase
Brought these in November 2017 its now into May 2018...time to review. For the price (£20) they have been perfect, kept my feet nice and toastie through these harsh winter months. I’ve had to replace the inner soles but that’s more down to wear and tear (Poundland for inner soles). These boots have really been perfect for my work and keeping my feet warm they have also doubled up as dog walking boots. I am really shocked by reading the bad reviews on these as I can honestly say these have been the best boots to see through a season of work that haven’t torn or leaked so far and they still have atleast a few months left in them. So 5 days a week 8am-6pm work and morning dog walks for the past 6 months...£20...still in use...can’t fault them at all 👌🏻

Fit for Purpose
Having grown disgruntled at rigger boots my employer was providing, I decided to purchase my own. These are actually cheaper than the ones my company obtain, and so much better.I have size 10 which with a thick sock, give me a very tiny more amount of room than my usual size 10's, but not enough to moan about.Very comfy and waterproof, as I sometimes find myself in half inch of water due to job.So far, riggers seem to be handling rigours, very pleased

Shall not buy again, and wouldn't recommend.
Really disappointed with these. After a few days water was in the sole, and the boots squelched when walking. Now, the sole unit is coming apart from the upper. Fit for the bin!£20 to buy.....last pair (by a different supplier/manufacturer ) were £40 and lasted 5 years before I decided on a new pair. So, if you want more than 6 months out of them, get a better pair.

Great boots
Very good quality leather and a perfect fit, not loose with normal socks but still with just enough room for thick socks in winter to still be comfortable (not too tight). Bought for grand daughter at college doing animal & equine care so will be perfect for protection, warmth, and water resistance. Can easily be hosed off with water and with a couple of good polishes followed by plenty of dubbin slapped on 2 times a week these should last very well. Price is spot on when compared to many of the other over priced offerings. Right boot has 2 small round pea sized marks on the front right edge of the toe area, just a very thin top layer scratched off which has disappeared after a bit of polish rubbed in, so not a problem. Absolutely no signs of previous wear or use so probably happened in storage or tansit, otherwise all in brand new mint condition or would've requested a replacement pair.

I love my "Riggers"
I love my "Riggers" ... The boyfriend doesn't love me in them so much! I am a ladies size 4 1/2 normally and had to get a 5 but with a thick pair of socks they are comfortable and wearable. If they came in a 4 I would have had a 4 and i am sure they would have fitted me better, even so they are still better than wellies :)
