These were great for my daughter’s sixth birthday. Helium and ribbon must be purchased separately - Target has both FYI.It was pretty straight forward with some patience to fill each balloon and my kid was thrilled with the patterns - mermaid tail, pink and purple shells.I specifically went with the mermaid tails because apparently all mermaids balloons and imagery shows only white blonde hair girls or women - which isn’t inclusive at all.This way all those who attended could clearly see the theme of the party in an inclusive manner without feeling - they weren’t represented.

I’m giving this 2 stars. Most of these balloons are completely unusable for helium.I used to work in the business for 10+ years blowing up balloons so it’s obvious to me that there’s something off here. Is the Mylar too thick? Bad quality?The tails do not float AT ALL, in my situation, 2 of them didn’t even hold air.The shell balloons, 1 didn’t hold air for more than a day. Referring to my video: the pink latex and shell balloons were blown up at the same time. The shells should immediately float to the top as latex does. They don’t. They linger, barley floating to the top.If you want to just inflate these with air, they could be fine for you. If your looking to fill them with helium, keep scrolling.

As I'm writing this I am looking at one seashell balloon I've kept from my birthday party back in February. It has been five months since then and the balloon shows no signs of deflating any time soon. I filled all of them with air, not helium. They're shiny, have beautiful color, and hold their shape well. I absolutely love them, I've bought these two years in a row now and will continue to. Love mermaids!

Beautiful colors, worked perfectly for our needs - birthday in the park. Assembled balloons in advance, they stayed filled a-ok. But, please note, we did not use helium... in fact, made sand weights to keep 'centerpieces' made with mermaid tails and metallic latex balloons on the table in light winds. Also, the seashells were a nice bonus to add to "under the sea" theme that had suddenly become a little too mermaid :) Lastly, colors were a nice complement to aqua/iridescent color palette. Only improvement? Needed to use our own straws to inflate, not clear from manufacturer how to inflate/protect self-sealing balloon mechanism.

These I was kind of disappointed in! They looked like the picture and were very cute and pretty. When I put helium in them they would only float ground level which I was very disappointed! Ended up just taping them to the walls:(
