It does support my shoulder. But the elastic strap is too tight for me and it is not adjustable. Also, because it is too tight, it cuts into my arm pit on the opposite side.

I am giving this product 3.5 starts. I have a bad right shoulder. Years of lifting heavy weights and an injury when I was in the military has left my shoulder in bad shape. Over the the last five years, I have received about 4 cortisone injections due to pain. I now lift much lighter weight, but still occasionally tweak my shoulder. I saw this shoulder brace and was hoping that it would provide the cure that I needed. Unfortunately for me, it did not work very well. First, the brace is a bit of a pain to put on. However, once I got the hang of it, I found I could do it without too much trouble. Second, The brace does not provide enough compression to stabilize my shoulder for lifting weight. If it was tighter, I think it might work.I think this brace would be good for keeping an injured shoulder under slight compression during the day. This is not like knee wraps or sleeves that you would use prior to heavy squats. So if you fit into the former, than this would work for you. So I tore my rotator cuff awhile back and I have never had surgery to repair it. Needless to say it bothers me from time to time and I thought I would try something like this to ease the pain a little bit. Overall I would say that it helps quite a bit and adds a good amount of support.I think my only complaints are that for me it takes my wife helping me to get it on and tight enough to do it's job. I am sure I could probably manage by myself but it would be difficult especially with a shoulder with limited range of motion as it is. The only other complaint is that my arm sweats really bad under this brace and I wish it had just a bit more airflow to it.The pros outweigh the cons for me just because I am not in as much pain when I wear this, especially laying down. While my reviews might be initial ones if something changes with usage of the product I will update my review.So this is a neoprene shoulder brace and once it's aired out it works great. It's easy to put on and take off and seems pretty well made. I've had shoulder surgery so I've found this helps my shoulder feel better sometimes. If something changes while I'm using it, I'll update my review.
